Which phone has the larger or faster-listed screen?
TECNO lists a 6.78-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate; Apple lists a 6.1-inch OLED display but does not state a refresh rate on the cited page. The POVA 8 Pro 5G therefore has the larger screen on the listed diagonal and the only stated refresh-rate figure in these specifications. Those figures do not establish actual brightness or how smooth either phone feels in use.
How do their processors and software differ?
Apple specifies the A16 Bionic for the iPhone 15. TECNO specifies the Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G processor and Arm Mali-G615 MC2 graphics for the POVA 8 Pro 5G, which it lists with HiOS 16 based on Android 16. The listed chip names alone are not a controlled performance comparison; the cited sources provide no benchmark results.

What do the camera specifications tell you?
The iPhone 15’s listed rear setup is a 48MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. Apple also describes a 2x telephoto option enabled by its quad-pixel sensor, plus a 4x optical zoom range. TECNO lists a 50MP OIS main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera for the POVA 8 Pro 5G. Megapixel counts, stabilization labels, and camera configurations do not determine which phone takes better photos; these specifications are not image-quality tests.
Battery capacity and charging: what can be compared?
TECNO lists a 6500mAh battery and 45W charging for the POVA 8 Pro 5G. Apple’s cited iPhone 15 specification page does not give an mAh capacity, so there is no supported capacity-to-capacity comparison here. The listed capacity and charging rate also do not establish battery endurance or real-world charging time.

How do size, weight, storage, and protection compare?
Size and weight
Apple lists the iPhone 15 at 171g and 147.6 × 71.6 × 7.80mm. TECNO lists the POVA 8 Pro 5G at 189g and 162.48 × 77.27 × 7.39mm. On those measurements, the TECNO is taller and wider, while the iPhone is slightly thicker and lighter.
Storage configurations
The iPhone 15 is listed in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities. TECNO lists 256GB or 512GB storage configurations for the POVA 8 Pro 5G, paired with the RAM options shown in the table. For a price comparison, 256GB-to-256GB or 512GB-to-512GB is a closer match than comparing unlike capacities.

Water and dust protection
Apple lists an IP68 rating for the iPhone 15 under IEC 60529, with a maximum depth of 6m for up to 30 minutes. TECNO’s cited specification page does not state a comparable rating, so the available specifications do not support a rating-to-rating comparison.

No defensible current price difference is established by the cited manufacturer pages: neither provides a current retail price. Prices vary by market, storage configuration, seller, and whether a device is new or used, so an old launch price or a price converted from another currency would not answer what a buyer pays locally.

To calculate a useful difference, compare prices from named sellers in the same country on the same date, match storage capacity where possible, and compare the same condition. The iPhone 15’s listed 256GB and 512GB options have corresponding TECNO storage capacities on its specification page, but local availability and actual prices still need to be confirmed.
