The 11th-generation iPad with Apple’s A16 chip is listed from ₹45,999 during Amazon’s Great Indian Festival 2026. Eligible SBI credit and debit cards were reported to reduce the price by ₹2,750, taking the effective cost below ₹43,250 before any exchange adjustment. The final amount depends on the storage and connectivity variant, seller, stock, card eligibility, exchange condition and delivery location.
What the ₹45,999 offer includes
The ₹45,999 figure is a dated festival-sale starting price, not a permanent Apple India retail price. Digit reported the offer on 16 October 2026. Amazon’s Great Indian Festival opened to all customers at midnight on 8 October 2026 and advertised discounts of up to 80% on electronics, along with a 10% instant SBI-card discount, no-cost EMI and exchange offers.

The reported SBI saving is ₹2,750 for eligible credit and debit cards. That puts the effective price below ₹43,250, although the exact checkout total can differ by variant, seller and other offer conditions. An exchange benefit of up to ₹37,600 was also described; that is a maximum valuation, not a guaranteed credit for every device. Exchange value depends on the phone or tablet being traded in, its condition and the checks performed during pickup.

- Confirm that the listing is the 128GB model or another storage tier, and check whether it is Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi + Cellular.
- Check the seller, stock status, delivery location and return terms shown on the live Amazon listing.
- Apply an eligible SBI card to see whether the ₹2,750 saving appears at checkout.
- Review no-cost EMI tenure, processing fees and the total payable amount rather than relying only on the monthly instalment.
- For an exchange, verify the quoted value and condition requirements before handing over the old device.

Choosing Wi-Fi or cellular
Wi-Fi model
Choose Wi-Fi if the iPad will mainly be used at home, school or an office with dependable wireless access. It avoids the higher purchase cost and a separate mobile-data plan.

Accessories for study and work
Apple lists Apple Pencil (USB-C), Magic Keyboard Folio and Smart Folio as designed companions for the iPad. The Pencil is the relevant add-on for handwriting, drawing and PDF markup. Magic Keyboard Folio targets laptop-style typing, while Smart Folio provides a protective cover and stand. Accessory prices are separate from the sale figure and should be checked at checkout.

How it compares with Android tablets
The useful comparison is not simply the headline price. Weigh the final price after card and exchange incentives against processor performance in the apps you use, display size and brightness, stylus and keyboard options, operating-system preference, cellular support, storage and warranty or after-sales service.
Digit identified Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, Xiaomi Pad 8 Nano Texture and Samsung Tab S10 FE Plus as competing Android options, but current prices and independent head-to-head performance results were not established for this sale. Treat any comparison as conditional until each model’s live price, storage, connectivity and included accessories are checked.

Is ₹45,999 a good time to buy?
It can be attractive if you need an A16 iPad now, qualify for the SBI promotion and are buying the exact variant shown at that starting price. The headline is less useful when the listing is out of stock, when the desired cellular or higher-storage model costs more, or when an exchange quote falls below its advertised maximum.
