That makes the current saving roughly $9 before tax. Apple has scheduled HomeView to become available on November 13, 2026.
How much can you save on an Apple HomeView pre-order?
Apple’s U.S. list price is $299 for both HomeView configurations: the tabletop display and the wall-mounted model. Tom’s Guide reported an Amazon price of $290, while MacRumors reported $289.99 the following day.

| Price shown | Arithmetic saving versus $299 | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| $299 | $0 | Apple’s listed U.S. price |
| $290 | $9 | Price reported by Tom’s Guide |
| $289.99 | $9.01 | Price reported by MacRumors |
Because the two retailer reports differ by one cent and Amazon pricing can change, treat the discount as approximately $9 rather than a guaranteed fixed amount. Taxes, delivery charges and any accessories are separate.

Which HomeView colors are discounted?
The discount has not been consistently available across every finish. Tom’s Guide reported the $290 price for Space Gray, Rose Pink and Silver, while Starlight remained at $299 in that report. MacRumors later reported a $289.99 price for all four tabletop colors.

The tabletop model is available in Rose Pink, Space Gray, Silver and Starlight. Apple’s wall-mounted listing includes Silver and Space Gray. The wall-mounted version can use purpose-built Schneider Home mounts, so buyers should include the cost and installation requirements of a mount when comparing the total price with the tabletop model.

Where and when will HomeView launch?
Apple’s release date is November 13, 2026. Initial availability includes the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, India and New Zealand. Apple also names Singapore and South Africa among the launch markets.
HomeView will not initially be sold in the European Union because Siri AI is unavailable there. That limitation applies to the initial release information and does not establish a future European launch date.

Should you pre-order at the discounted price?
Pre-ordering makes sense if you already use Apple Home
The strongest case is for households that already rely on the Home app, compatible accessories and Apple accounts. HomeView’s household-personalization support and Siri AI integration are most useful when it is connected to an established Apple smart-home setup.

Compare features, not just the $9 difference
For alternatives such as an Amazon Echo Show or Google Nest Hub, the relevant questions are ecosystem integration, display and camera capabilities, smart-home protocol support, tabletop versus wall installation, household personalization and launch-market availability. Current competitor prices are not established here, so the HomeView discount alone is not a complete value comparison.
What to check before placing the order
- Verify that the listing is for the model and color you actually want.
- Check whether the displayed price is $299, $290, $289.99 or another amount at checkout.
- Confirm that the delivery estimate still points to the November 13, 2026 availability date.
- For a wall-mounted unit, price the required mount and account for installation.
- Make sure your country is among the initial launch markets and that your smart-home accessories are compatible.
At the reported Amazon prices, the practical benefit is about $9 off Apple’s $299 U.S. list price. The saving is worthwhile if you already know which HomeView model and finish you want, but the retailer price and eligible colors can change before launch.
