Apple’s iPhone Duo “Get Ready” process opens Monday, October 12, 2026. It lets shoppers prepare configuration and checkout details before actual pre-orders begin Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. Pacific time (8 a.m. Eastern). Get Ready is preparation, not an order or a reservation.
When can you get ready for an iPhone Duo pre-order?
The advance setup starts October 12 through the Apple Store app and Apple’s online store, according to 9to5Mac’s report on Apple’s product-page update. Apple has not established in the cited sources exactly when the window closes.

Actual iPhone Duo pre-orders open on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 5 a.m. PT / 8 a.m. ET. Apple lists the 5 a.m. Pacific opening in its announcement, and 9to5Mac reports the same U.S. schedule. If you are outside the United States, convert the opening to your local time and check your country’s Apple Store because ordering rules and timing can vary by market.

The announcement does not list every country in the cited material. Use your local Apple Store for the exact market, eligibility, carrier terms, taxes, currency and delivery estimates. A pre-order opening in one country does not mean the phone can be ordered or delivered on the same day everywhere.

Apple’s official schedule is in its September 2026 Newsroom announcement. Because the October 12 timing comes from a reported product-page update, recheck Apple’s local product page if you are publishing or reading this after October 12 or if Apple changes the page.

How to use Get Ready without missing the opening
- On or after October 12: open the Apple Store app or Apple’s online store for your market.
- Choose the phone: select the iPhone Duo configuration, including color and storage where offered.
- Set order details: choose a carrier and payment method, plus any other information Apple requests.
- Before October 16: verify your Apple Account, payment details, address and trade-in information if applicable.
- At 5 a.m. PT / 8 a.m. ET on October 16: return to the store, review the saved configuration and submit the order.
- After checkout: rely on Apple’s confirmation and order-status page for the delivery estimate; completing Get Ready alone is not proof of an order.
Optional iPhone Duo accessories available October 16
Apple also announced two Duo-specific accessories that can be ordered on October 16. They are optional and are not required for Get Ready or for buying the phone.

Prices vary by region. Apple’s Canadian release lists C$99 for the case and C$179 for the folio. Check the store for your country rather than converting the U.S. figures.
