Why did Anne Hathaway apologize?
The next night, September 30, Hathaway watched the clip on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She covered her eyes and called the footage “the stuff of nightmares.” She explained that the group photo was crowded and that photographers were getting upset as the atmosphere changed.
