The manual provides preparation directions, not a broad ingredient-performance guarantee. Wash fruit, cut the edible flesh into 1 × 1 × 1 cm pieces, remove cores and other hard material, thick skin and hard shells, then add water or another drinking liquid. Do not fill above the 270 mL MAX line. The manual’s example is 108 g of soaked carrots with 162 mL of water.

These directions support small, liquid-rich batches of suitably prepared ingredients. They do not establish performance with ice, kale, nut butter, frozen fruit, large pieces or full-size smoothie portions. Avoid assuming that a 50 W rating alone predicts what the blades can handle.
How to operate it without exceeding its limits
- Charge before use. The manual estimates about three hours to charge from a standard 5 V DC, 1 A USB source. The indicator is red while charging and blue when fully charged. Use a power supply certified to AS/NZS 61558.1 and AS/NZS 61558.2.16 with matching SELV output.
- Prepare a small batch. Cut ingredients into 1 cm cubes, remove hard parts, and add drinking liquid without exceeding the MAX line. Do not run the blender empty, and do not blend hot liquids.
- Start the blender. Double-press the On/Off switch. A run stops automatically after 45 seconds.
- Respond to a stall. If pulp stalls the blade, the blender stops and the indicator turns red. Tilt or turn the unit until the blade separates, wait for the red light to go out, then double-press to resume.
- Allow the specified rest. The manual sets a maximum operating time of 45 seconds and says to rest the unit for at least three minutes before another use. After five cycles, allow approximately 30 minutes for cooling.
How does it compare with Kmart’s currently listed light-blue blender?
A similar name and colour do not make two appliances the same model. Kmart’s currently visible light-blue Portable USB Blender listing is SKU 43624607, with a 450 mL capacity and 100 W input; the WBL-2401A manual specifies 270 mL and 50 W. Kmart’s listing showed a $22 clearance price when observed, but that is a volatile price for the other SKU, not a WBL-2401A price. Cleaning, battery and warranty considerations
Cleaning
The cup and lid can be rinsed. For a quick clean, the manual describes running a water cycle for 5–10 seconds. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth only: do not rinse, immerse, soak or spray it. The blades are sharp. Do not put any part in a dishwasher or microwave, or in hot water above 60°C.

Battery and storage
The built-in lithium-ion batteries are non-replaceable. For long-term storage, the manual advises recharging every three months. It specifies a use and storage temperature range of -5°C to +35°C.

Warranty
The manual states a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase when the appliance is used according to its accompanying recommendations, in addition to Australian Consumer Law rights. Electrical repairs should be handled by a qualified electrical person.
Check the recall notice by model before buying or using
