What the $7.99 offer includes
The reported deal is for two USB-C-to-USB-C cables. PCWorld called $7.99 the lowest price it had tracked for the offer, equivalent to roughly $4 each. That is a dated deal report, not a guaranteed live price.

What the cable can—and cannot—do
Charging: up to 60W
Anker rates the A8753 cable for up to 60W. That is the cable’s maximum supported charging power, not a guarantee that a connected phone, tablet or laptop will receive 60W. Actual charging depends on the device and charger; both must support the relevant power level. The cable has USB-C plugs at both ends, so it will not connect directly to a USB-A charger.
A 60W cable can suit compatible phones and tablets and some laptops, but it may limit charging speed on power-hungry laptops that need more than 60W for their fastest charging.

Data transfer: 480 Mbps
Anker lists a maximum transfer rate of 480 Mbps, a modest USB 2.0-class speed. That is adequate for basic connections, but it is not a strong choice if you regularly move large files. For that use, compare cables with a higher stated data rate and check their charging rating separately; a cable’s wattage does not tell you its data speed.

- Live price and availability: The $7.99 figure was reported by PCWorld on October 6, 2026. Verify the current price, stock and Prime eligibility on the Amazon listing.
- Length and exact variant: PCWorld’s 3.3-foot description differs from the 3-foot and 6-foot choices on Anker’s official A8753 page. Confirm the variation actually selected.
- Connector fit: This is USB-C to USB-C, not a USB-C-to-USB-A cable.
- Charging needs: Treat 60W as a maximum cable rating. Check the charger and device specifications, especially for a laptop.
- File-transfer needs: The stated 480 Mbps maximum is relatively slow for frequent large transfers.
Durability figures are not consistent across the sources
Anker’s official A8753 product page says the cable can withstand up to 12,000 bends, while PCWorld’s deal article gives up to 5,000 bends for the product it describes. Because the deal listing’s exact variant has not been confirmed against the official page, these figures should not be treated as interchangeable or as a verified durability rating for the discounted option.
