Neither power station is a universal winner. The US versions of the Anker SOLIX F2000 (also sold as PowerHouse 767) and EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max both list a 2,048Wh battery and 2,400W AC output. EcoFlow is substantially lighter on the published specifications, while Anker documents a straightforward 4,096Wh expansion and a 20ms UPS figure. Choose EcoFlow when lifting weight and a larger future battery system matter most; choose Anker when its documented expansion path, UPS specification, local outlets and warranty terms fit your setup better.

At a glance: the published US specifications

The comparison below uses the US specifications cited for each model unless a regional source is identified. These are manufacturer-published figures, not results from a controlled head-to-head test.

Which one should you buy?

Choose the DELTA 2 Max for frequent lifting and transport

At 50lb (23kg), the DELTA 2 Max is 17.2lb (7.5kg) lighter than the F2000’s published 67.2lb (30.5kg). That difference is significant when the unit has to move from a storage room to a vehicle, over a campsite, or between work areas. Weight does not determine electrical performance, but it affects whether you will actually bring the station with you and how safely one person can handle it.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

EcoFlow also publishes support for up to two DELTA 2 Max Smart Extra Batteries, or a DELTA Max Smart Extra Battery, and its EU material describes expansion to 6kWh. Confirm the exact battery model, firmware requirements, connector arrangement and availability for your country before treating that ceiling as an option you can buy locally.

Choose the F2000 when its documented 4,096Wh path is enough

Anker’s US manual explicitly describes connecting one 2,048Wh expansion battery to double the capacity to 4,096Wh. The manual’s wording is: “Your power station can be connected with an expansion battery to double the capacity to 4096Wh.” If one additional battery covers your planned outage duration, this is a simpler expansion target than designing around a larger multi-battery system.

The F2000 can also make sense when the 20ms UPS figure in its manual matches the equipment you need to keep powered. That number should not be treated as proof that every computer, medical device or networking appliance will ride through an outage; manufacturers and device makers can specify different tolerances. Verify the required transfer time for the particular load.

Do not choose on capacity or wattage alone

Both units list 2,048Wh and 2,400W AC output in the cited US material. Those headline numbers eliminate neither model. The practical choice depends on the appliance’s continuous draw, startup surge, required runtime, outlet format, charging method, transport needs and local warranty support.

Capacity and runtime: how to estimate what 2,048Wh can do

A watt-hour is an energy measurement, not a promise that an appliance will run for a particular number of hours. A first estimate is:

ideal runtime in hours = 2,048Wh ÷ appliance watts

That calculation ignores inverter losses, battery-management reserves, conversion losses, temperature and the fact that some devices cycle on and off. Use it as an upper-bound planning figure, not a guaranteed runtime.

Example load Ideal calculation from 2,048Wh How to interpret it
100W continuous load 2,048 ÷ 100 = 20.48 hours Actual time will be lower after conversion losses and reserve capacity.
500W continuous load 2,048 ÷ 500 = 4.096 hours Useful for comparing planning scenarios, not a measured result.
1,000W continuous load 2,048 ÷ 1,000 = 2.048 hours High-draw loads also make heat, fan operation and startup behavior more important.
2,000W continuous load 2,048 ÷ 2,000 = 1.024 hours This approaches the output limit and leaves little margin for losses or surges.

For a realistic plan, measure the device with a plug-in power meter, add the loads that will run at the same time, and leave headroom below the 2,400W AC limit. Refrigerators, pumps, compressors, power tools and some printers can draw several times their running wattage when their motors or heating elements start. The F2000 manual’s cited material does not establish a surge rating in the comparison data; EcoFlow lists a 4,800W surge figure. A higher surge number does not mean either station can sustain 4,800W continuously.

Home backup: what to check before connecting appliances

1. Make a load list

  1. Write down every device you want to operate during an outage.
  2. Record its running wattage from the label or a power meter.
  3. Identify motor, compressor or heating loads that may have a high startup demand.
  4. Add only the devices that must run simultaneously and keep the total below the station’s continuous rating.

Do not assume a 2,400W station can operate an entire house. A refrigerator, router, lights and a laptop may fit comfortably, while an electric heater, kettle, induction cooker, well pump or large air conditioner can consume most or all of the available output by itself.

2. Decide whether you need UPS behavior

The F2000 manual lists a 20ms UPS figure. The reviewed DELTA 2 Max US material does not provide a directly comparable transfer figure, so no defensible claim can be made that one is universally safer for sensitive electronics. Check the exact requirement in the computer, network appliance, medical device or other equipment manual. If uninterrupted operation is safety-critical, use a UPS system approved for that application rather than relying on a marketing category alone.

3. Plan safe connection methods

Plug appliances directly into the station’s receptacles unless a qualified electrician has installed equipment specifically designed for portable power. Never energize household wiring by improvising a male-to-male cable or by backfeeding a wall outlet. A transfer switch, inlet and grounding arrangement must comply with local electrical rules and be installed by a licensed professional.

4. Confirm voltage and outlet compatibility

The cited F2000 manual is the 120V US version, while Anker’s UK product page lists 220–240V specifications. Outlet shapes, voltage, frequency and charging accessories differ by region. EcoFlow also sells region-specific versions. Select the model intended for your country and verify that the sockets match your appliances before purchase; a plug adapter does not convert voltage.

Camping, RV and mobile work: portability versus endurance

Why the weight difference matters outdoors

The F2000’s 30.5kg published weight can be manageable when it is rolled directly into a vehicle or placed permanently in a shelter, but it is demanding for repeated lifting. The DELTA 2 Max’s 23kg figure is easier for one person to carry, although the complete travel load also includes solar panels, cables, extra batteries and protective storage.

Because neither model’s published specifications establish dimensions, do not assume that the lighter unit will fit a particular cabinet, vehicle compartment or RV slide. Measure the available space and account for ventilation, handle clearance and cable access.

Solar charging is tied on maximum input

Both cited models list solar input of up to 1,000W. EcoFlow describes dual-port solar input; Anker lists up to 1,000W in its manual. That maximum does not tell you which panels can be connected in series or parallel. Before buying panels, match the station’s permitted voltage and current range, connector type and polarity, then verify whether the required cable is included. Real solar harvest varies with panel orientation, shading, season, temperature and charge limits.

Expansion changes transport planning

An extra battery increases stored energy but also adds weight, volume and charging hardware. The F2000’s documented one-battery configuration reaches 4,096Wh. EcoFlow’s cited EU material describes a system of up to 6kWh, with the US page naming compatible Smart Extra Battery options. Treat those as system configurations, not as a statement that every regional bundle contains the batteries or that all accessories are interchangeable.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Battery chemistry, cycle claims and long-term ownership

Both products use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries in the cited manufacturer material. EcoFlow states 3,000 cycles to 80% or more of original capacity on its US page. Anker’s UK listing describes 3,000 cycles, but the cited regional wording does not establish the same 80%-capacity endpoint. These figures are manufacturer-published lifecycle claims, not independently verified results.

Cycle life depends on depth of discharge, temperature, charging rate, storage state and how the battery is managed. A “cycle” can represent cumulative use equal to 100% of the battery’s capacity rather than one plug-in session. Store and operate either station within the limits in its current manual, keep vents clear, and avoid leaving a battery fully depleted for extended periods.

Warranty length is not the same as guaranteed cycle life. Anker’s UK page advertises a five-year full-device warranty, and EcoFlow’s US page states a five-year warranty. Coverage, registration requirements, replacement procedure, shipping responsibility and regional service availability can differ. Save the invoice, confirm the exact model number and read the terms for the market where you buy.

Noise and charging claims: what the published evidence does and does not show

EcoFlow’s EU material advertises 30dB under a stated low-input/500W-output condition. That is a vendor claim under a particular operating condition, not a general noise level for every load, charging mode or fan speed. The cited comparison material does not provide a controlled noise result for the F2000, so it cannot support a verdict that one is quieter overall.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The same caution applies to charging-speed language, app behavior, thermal performance and longevity. The available evidence consists of official manuals and product pages, not an independent test using identical loads, ambient temperatures, cables and charging sources. If silent operation or rapid recharge is essential, look for the exact mode and conditions in the regional specification and test the unit during your return period.

Expansion buying checklist

  • Confirm the extra battery’s exact model name, not merely its capacity.
  • Check whether the battery is approved for your base station’s firmware and regional version.
  • Verify the connector and cable supplied for the intended configuration.
  • Calculate the total cost of the station, battery, solar panels and required cables rather than comparing base-unit prices.
  • Check whether the expanded system can be transported and stored where you plan to use it.
  • Read the warranty terms for both the power station and the expansion battery.

For the F2000, the cited manual supports one 2,048Wh expansion battery and a 4,096Wh total. For the DELTA 2 Max, the cited US page names up to two DELTA 2 Max Smart Extra Batteries or a DELTA Max Smart Extra Battery, while the cited EU page describes up to 6kWh. Regional inventory and compatibility can change, so confirm the configuration with the seller or manufacturer before ordering.

Common mistakes and how to avoid them

Confusing watt-hours with watts

Wh describes stored energy; W describes the rate at which a device uses or supplies power. A station can have enough Wh for a long low-power load but still be unable to start a high-wattage appliance. Check both numbers.

Treating surge output as continuous output

EcoFlow’s 4,800W surge figure is momentary support, not a 4,800W operating rating. The cited continuous AC figure for the DELTA 2 Max is 2,400W, and the F2000 manual lists 2,400W maximum AC output. Size the station using continuous demand first, then check startup requirements.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Assuming all regional versions are identical

The F2000 evidence itself shows why this matters: the US manual describes 120V operation, while Anker’s UK listing describes 220–240V specifications. Outlet layout, charging input and warranty service can vary by market. Use the manual and product page for the exact regional model.

Buying panels without checking electrical limits

A 1,000W solar-input headline does not guarantee that any 1,000W collection of panels is electrically compatible. Match voltage, current, connector and series/parallel configuration before connecting panels.

Expecting a portable station to replace a home electrical installation

Portable outlets are not a substitute for a code-compliant transfer switch or a permanently wired backup system. For circuits connected to household wiring, consult a qualified electrician.

Final verdict

On the published US specifications, the DELTA 2 Max is the better fit for buyers who regularly carry the unit or want EcoFlow’s documented path toward a larger multi-battery system. The F2000 is the better fit when a single expansion battery reaching 4,096Wh, its documented 20ms UPS figure, or Anker’s local outlet and warranty arrangements align more closely with your needs. Since both start at 2,048Wh and list 2,400W AC output, make the final decision from your appliance load, startup surge, runtime calculation, transport route, solar hardware and country-specific terms—not from the headline capacity alone.
