How the progression loop fits together
Anime Zero links summoning and dungeon farming rather than treating them as separate systems. Spins and Lucky Spins are used in the Arsenal to obtain weapons. Story, Defend, Infinite, quests, achievements, milestones, codes, and the AFK chamber can provide money, Gems, additional spins, or upgrade tokens. Weapon-specific materials then determine what you can evolve or craft.
A typical account progression looks like this:
- Obtain a weapon in the Arsenal with ordinary Spins or Lucky Spins.
- Use that weapon to clear content you can reliably finish, usually early Story chapters.
- Save the resulting currency and weapon-specific materials instead of spending every resource immediately.
- Evolve a suitable weapon when its requirements are visible and affordable.
- Craft an accessory and tune traits, enchants, and skills to the role your build needs.
- Move to harder modes only when your current setup can clear them consistently.
The October 9, 2026 beginner guide also says a player can equip two weapons. That makes a dependable main carry more valuable than scattering early materials across several untested weapons.
What a new player should do first
1. Confirm the current client and account requirements
Open the in-game menus and check the Arsenal, codes interface, progression screens, and any displayed pity counter. The beginner guide says code redemption becomes available once the account reaches the level required by the game. Because that threshold can change, use the level requirement shown in your client rather than an old checklist.
2. Redeem eligible codes before spending spins
Redeem codes that the game currently accepts before rolling. Codes are time-sensitive and the guides do not establish that any particular code remains valid. A rejected code may be expired, entered incorrectly, limited to one redemption, or replaced by a newer code. Do not budget around a code until the game actually credits the reward.
3. Roll for a weapon, then stop and test it
Use the Arsenal to obtain an initial weapon, but do not immediately spend every Gem or reroll token chasing a perfect result. Take the weapon into the earliest Story stages you can enter and learn its attack pattern, skills, and clear speed. Your first objective is a route you can repeat, not a theoretical rarity that you cannot use effectively.
4. Farm Story chapters for materials
A separate beginner guide describes Story, Defend, and Infinite modes and recommends starting with Story. Acts have their own material pools, so the chapter you can clear may matter more than a mode’s headline difficulty. Higher difficulties increase enemy health and damage, according to that guide; only move up when the extra reward justifies the longer or less reliable run.

5. Delay irreversible-looking investments
Before evolving or crafting, inspect the exact material list in the current menu. The reported routes differ by weapon, and the guide’s recommendation assumes its October 9, 2026 requirements are still in force. Keep enough currency for the next useful upgrade rather than treating a single early roll as your permanent build.
Arsenal summons, Spins, and pity
Spins and Lucky Spins feed the weapon-collection system. Pity is a counter or floor intended to guarantee a rarity after enough attempts, but the available figures are dated guide reports, not a promise that every summon reaches a particular result earlier.

Check the live Arsenal display before planning a long saving period. If the in-game counter differs from one of these values, the client is the relevant reference. None of the guides supports promising a specific rarity before its pity floor, and they do not establish universal odds for every individual spin.
Because you can equip two weapons, a sensible early policy is to secure one weapon that clears your available content, then save toward a clearly useful second weapon or a known evolution. Spending every spin as soon as it arrives can leave you with several untested weapons and no materials to develop them.
Which weapon should you evolve first?
The commonly repeated answer is Cataclysm, but it is a dated guide recommendation rather than a universal rule. The October 9 guide reports the following comparison:

Choose Cataclysm first when you already own it, its current menu still shows those requirements, and its ordinary material route fits your farming ability. Flame Director may be the better use of resources for a player who already clears the required Nightmare raid or whose build specifically needs its role. Compare five things before committing:

- Resource cost: the Gem amount and every listed material, not just the headline price.
- Availability: whether materials come from Story or require a difficult raid.
- Readiness: whether you can clear the relevant difficulty consistently.
- Build role: whether you need damage, survivability, or faster farming.
- Opportunity cost: whether the same Gems would unlock a more useful accessory, trait, or second weapon.
Evolution is described as unlocking an ultimate while consuming weapon-specific materials. Read the current evolution panel first; an old cost is not evidence that your version has the same gate.
Modes and farming priorities
Story
Story is the recommended starting point because acts provide their own materials and let you establish a repeatable clear. Farm the act that supplies your next evolution or accessory requirement rather than choosing solely by the largest displayed reward.
Defend
Defend is one of the three modes named in the beginner guide. Its value depends on the current reward table and your ability to protect the objective efficiently. Check the in-game reward preview before replacing a reliable Story route.

Infinite
Infinite offers a longer-form challenge for a build that can survive escalating pressure. It is better treated as a later farming or testing option than as the first destination for a new account.
Nightmare
An October 5, 2026 guide update, describing an October 2 buff, reports 15,000 money and 350 Gems per Nightmare run. Those are community-guide figures tied to that dated reward state. Verify the current preview and your actual payout before calculating how many runs you need for an evolution.
AFK chamber
The same guide reports that an October 2 rework produced rates of 10 Coins per second, 50 Gems every two minutes, and one Lucky Spin every 15 minutes. These are not guaranteed current rates. Use the AFK chamber as supplemental income and confirm that the game continues crediting rewards while you are away; do not treat the reported rates as a permanent passive-income promise.

Currency names can appear as “Coins” or “money” in different guide wording. Follow the label in your client and inspect the reward screen rather than assuming that a source listed in a guide pays all six resources.
Traits, enchants, skills, accessories, and titles
Weapon rarity alone does not define a finished build. The progression guide describes several layers:
- Traits alter a weapon’s characteristics; Trait Rerolls let you replace an undesirable result.
- Enchants provide another weapon modification layer and should support the job you expect the weapon to perform.
- Skills expand the weapon’s combat options and consume Skill Tokens or other displayed requirements.
- Accessories are crafted from materials and can supply the survivability, damage, or farming utility your weapon lacks.
- Titles provide additional goals rather than replacing the core weapon-and-material loop.
Use rerolls after you have identified a main carry and its role. A damage-focused farming weapon and a survival-focused weapon do not necessarily want the same trait or accessory. Crafting an item simply because you have enough materials can delay the upgrade that actually improves your clear time.
Is Anime Zero free to play?
The beginner guide says the opening progression route does not require Robux. You can redeem eligible codes, roll through earned rewards, clear Story content, and gather materials without buying a pass.
The only paid offer reported in the supplied guides is an Instant Spins pass listed at 149 Robux. The guide describes it as skipping summon and reroll animations. It does not change results or pity, and the price and availability may change. That makes it a time-saving convenience purchase, not a way to improve summon odds or bypass a rarity requirement.

The pity number in your game is different
Use the live Arsenal display. The 175, 350, and 3,500 figures are verified guide snapshots from October 9, 2026, not permanent guarantees.
A code does not work
Check spelling, account eligibility, expiration, and whether it was already redeemed. If the client rejects it, remove the code from your budget; the guides do not establish ongoing validity.
You cannot gather an evolution material
Open the evolution requirement and identify the exact source. If it names a higher difficulty or a raid such as Spirit’s Bathtub, first build a reliable Story setup and improve the weapon, trait, skill, or accessory that addresses your current weakness.
Nightmare runs are too slow or inconsistent
Do not use the reported 15,000-money and 350-Gem payout as justification for a route you frequently fail. A lower chapter completed consistently can produce more usable progress than an occasional unsuccessful Nightmare attempt.
You are unsure whether to reroll or save
Save Trait Rerolls until you know which weapon will remain in your two-weapon setup. Rerolling a temporary weapon can consume a resource needed for the eventual carry.
A practical decision checklist
- Does the current game display confirm the code, pity, cost, or reward you are planning around?
- Can you clear the material source repeatedly without relying on a lucky run?
- Will the upgrade improve your chosen role—damage, survivability, or farming speed?
- Are you keeping enough currency for the next required evolution or accessory?
- Are you spending Robux only to save animation time, with no expectation of better odds?
Anime Zero rewards a staged approach: summon enough to establish a usable weapon, farm content you can clear, then invest when the live requirements and your own readiness line up. Dated guide figures are useful planning references, but the current in-game menus determine what your account can actually do.
