How to get Whisper of Longing
- Progress the Echoback Landing story. Speak with Sorora and follow the Echonite sequence associated with Everlasting Echoback Song. A walkthrough says to do this at night and continue until the Whalesong Blossom blooms; the exact sequence may differ if your quest state is different. - Collect the Whalesong Blossom. Pick up the blossom after the story event. Completing the event does not necessarily mean the flower has been collected.
- Take the blossom to Elvira in Bloomville. Give it to the perfumer and complete the conversation. The hand-in for A Fragrant Journey: Echoback Landing awards Whisper of Longing. Game8’s Aniimo quest walkthrough describes the hand-in and reward.
If the quest is not available
The walkthroughs do not establish a consistent set of unlock prerequisites for A Fragrant Journey: Echoback Landing. Check your in-game Log for Echoback clues and current Journey objectives, then continue the Echoback Landing story if the quest or hand-in is missing. Avoid assuming that a particular level or earlier quest is required unless your own Log specifies it.
