Its monitoring dashboard reports per-core clock rates, temperature and voltage, with average and peak readings. You can use it to inspect system behavior while leaving tuning controls untouched.
What Ryzen Master’s dashboard can show you
AMD describes Ryzen Master as providing real-time monitoring of per-core clock rates, temperature and voltages. You can choose which parameters appear, and the dashboard includes average and peak readings. That makes it a way to observe processor telemetry—not a requirement to change how the CPU runs.

AMD also describes customizable views for individual CPU chiplet dies (CCDs) and RAM views focused on EXPO parameters. The exact information available depends on the processor and system configuration. AMD’s Ryzen Master product page describes the monitoring features.

Monitoring is different from tuning
Monitoring reads current system behavior; tuning changes operating settings. Ryzen Master includes both kinds of functions, but you do not need to use tuning features to look at dashboard readings.

- Cooler not included
| Use | What it does | Does it change processor behavior? |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard monitoring | Displays readings such as per-core clock rates, temperature and voltage | No; it observes telemetry |
| Eco Mode | Lowers processor power consumption from stock to AMD’s lower standard AM5 infrastructure power level | Yes; it is a power-limiting mode |
| Curve Optimizer | Shifts the voltage/frequency curve toward lower voltages when using negative values | Yes; it changes tuning settings |
| Curve Shaper | Allows fine-grained voltage/frequency tuning across temperature and frequency bands on Ryzen 9000 Series, according to Ryzen Master 3.1.0 | Yes; it changes tuning settings |
AMD notes that some controls may be restricted while Eco Mode is active, and Curve Optimizer may not be available on every CPU. For details on the controls and limitations, consult the Ryzen Master User Guide 3.1.0.
Can you use Ryzen Master just to monitor a CPU?
Sometimes. AMD’s Ryzen Master User Guide 3.1.0 says the software can install on systems without overclocking support or enablement and display only its Dashboard for monitoring. But that is not a guarantee for every AMD computer: AMD also says a CPU or APU restricted from overclocking may lead Ryzen Master to indicate the restriction and not install.

Support depends on the processor and system configuration, not just the socket family. AMD’s 3.1.0 supported-platform guide lists desktop products in AM4, AM5 and SP6 socket infrastructures, while the guide also describes processor- and feature-specific support. Check AMD’s supported-platform guide and your motherboard maker’s documentation for your exact setup.
What to know before changing settings
Opening the dashboard to inspect readings is distinct from modifying CPU, memory, current, power or voltage settings. AMD warns that changing stock settings carries a risk of reduced processor longevity and reliability and voids the AMD product warranty. Treat tuning controls as optional and separate from monitoring; if you only want to see system telemetry, you do not need to change them.
