Its 10-core processor, fast soldered LPDDR5X and quiet cooling are the appeal. The Radeon 880M is still an integrated GPU, however, and the fixed memory, Wi-Fi 6-class wireless in the reviewed unit and uncertain current pricing make configuration and price more important than the SER9 Pro name alone.
What was tested
This review concerns the Beelink SER9 Pro with AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 and integrated Radeon 880M, not the similarly named HX 370 model. The commonly reviewed configuration has 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 memory, a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD and Windows 11 in a compact metal chassis with integrated speakers and microphones. Retail bundles can differ, so confirm the processor, memory, SSD, wireless card and warranty before buying.

Ryzen AI 9 365 performance
A hybrid Zen 5 design
The processor combines four full Zen 5 cores with six more compact Zen 5c cores, for 10 cores and 20 threads. It has 10 MB of L2 cache and 24 MB of L3 cache, and can boost to 5.0 GHz. That combination makes the SER9 Pro feel immediate in browsers, office applications and code editors while providing substantial parallel capacity for compilation, compression, transcoding and batch work.

Those numbers do not make it a desktop Ryzen 9. Boost clocks are short-term targets, and the sustained result depends on the SER9 Pro’s power profile, temperature and fan curve. A 15–54 W configurable range describes the platform; it does not prove that every retail unit runs at 54 W continuously.
What it suits
- Large browser sessions, office work and remote desktops
- Software builds, containers and moderate virtual-machine use
- Photo work and 1080p or moderate 4K video editing
- Hardware-assisted video encoding and everyday media playback
- Music production where the project does not require a discrete GPU
Long renders, heavy 4K/8K effects, ECC memory and validated workstation software are better served by a larger upgradeable system.
Radeon 880M: capable integrated graphics, not a gaming replacement
The Radeon 880M is an RDNA 3.5 integrated GPU with 12 compute units and a listed peak frequency of 2.9 GHz. It has no dedicated VRAM: it borrows bandwidth from the LPDDR5X. Fast memory is therefore important, but reserving more graphics memory in firmware does not automatically increase frame rates and leaves less RAM for Windows, containers and applications.

Realistic gaming targets

A Chinese hands-on report measured about 53 FPS in Black Myth: Wukong at its stated settings, but that is one result, not a universal Radeon 880M rating. Driver version, ambient temperature, preset, upscaling and power mode can materially change performance. Comparisons suggesting GTX 1650-level performance should likewise be treated as game-specific rather than a specification equivalence.
For a meaningful review, record resolution, preset, upscaler, average frame rate and 1% lows. A short benchmark can hide a fan or power limit that appears after several minutes.
AI features and the NPU
The XDNA 2 NPU is rated at up to 50 TOPS; AMD’s combined CPU, GPU and NPU figure is up to 73 TOPS (AMD launch announcement). TOPS is a capability metric, not an application-speed test. An application must provide an NPU execution path, and many workloads still run on the CPU or GPU.

The NPU is most relevant to supported conferencing, camera, transcription and AI-assisted Windows applications. Shared memory also constrains local models; 50 TOPS does not guarantee fast large-language-model inference, professional generative-AI performance or compatibility with every Copilot+ feature.

Cooling, noise and sustained behavior
Beelink’s MSC2.0 cooling design and Guru3D’s introduction cite approximately 32 dB under heavy computational load. Treat that as a claim tied to the review’s equipment and conditions, not a universal noise guarantee. Fan character matters as much as the number: a low hum is easier to tolerate than a narrow high-pitched tone.
For a buying-quality measurement, run CPU-only, GPU-only and combined workloads for 20–30 minutes, record room temperature, package and surface temperatures, wall power, noise distance and stabilized clocks. Keep clear space around the intake and exhaust. Warm rooms, dust and a quiet or performance BIOS mode can change both noise and sustained speed.

Memory, storage and maintenance
Fixed memory is the major long-term compromise
LPDDR5X-8000 helps the Radeon 880M, but it is soldered. Choose capacity at purchase: 32 GB is comfortable for general productivity and development, while virtual machines, large containers, creative applications and local models can make a larger configuration preferable. There is no normal DIMM upgrade path.
Two reported NVMe positions
Guru3D reports dual M.2 2280 support and up to 8 TB in a suitable two-drive configuration (hardware coverage). “Up to 8 TB” does not mean an 8 TB drive is included, nor that every 4 TB SSD sustains full speed in the chassis. Check whether both slots are populated, the boot-drive layout, heatsink clearance, lane sharing and the warranty terms before opening the case.

Reported connectivity includes HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB4, USB-C 10 Gbps, USB-A 3.2 and USB-A 2.0, plus 2.5Gb Ethernet. That is enough for a multi-monitor desk, fast external storage and ordinary peripherals. Verify the exact port arrangement and USB4 behavior on your revision.

PC Perspective’s reviewed unit used Wi-Fi 6 and lacked 6 GHz access (overview). Do not assume every SER9 Pro has Wi-Fi 7. “Triple 4K” marketing also needs a port-and-refresh-rate check; display output capability is not the same as rendering games at 4K.
One Chinese report describes 40 Gbps USB4 and limited 15 W power delivery, but those details should be confirmed against the exact hardware revision rather than treated as universal.

The HX 370’s extra cores and Radeon 890M raise the performance ceiling, especially in GPU-limited games. Choose the 365 when the discount is substantial and your work is mostly CPU productivity. Choose the HX 370 when the premium is reasonable and gaming or graphics acceleration matters. Compare complete configurations: memory, SSD, power limits and cooling can differ.

Buy it when
- You need a small, quiet general-purpose Windows desktop.
- CPU responsiveness, multiple displays and low desk space matter most.
- You play esports, older AAA, indie or emulated games.
- You accept soldered memory and want accessible NVMe expansion.
- The 365 model is clearly cheaper than the HX 370 version.
Choose something else when
- Native 1440p/4K AAA gaming or ray tracing is a priority.
- You need replaceable RAM, ECC, enterprise management or validated workstation support.
- You require Wi-Fi 7/6 GHz or guaranteed high-end local AI acceleration.
- The price approaches an HX 370, discrete-GPU mini PC or newer AI Max-class system.
Final verdict
The SER9 Pro with Ryzen AI 9 365 is a compelling compact productivity machine whose CPU, memory bandwidth, ports and acoustics outweigh its limitations for the right buyer. Radeon 880M makes 1080p gaming practical with reduced settings and upscaling, not a substitute for a modern discrete GPU. Buy the exact 365/880M configuration only after checking current street price, soldered-memory capacity, wireless module, SSD layout, warranty and return policy; the $949 Guru3D figure is historical, not an August 2026 price.
