Amazon’s October 6–7, 2026 sale, officially called Prime Big Deal Days, featured reported discounts on Magic: The Gathering Play Booster boxes for Star Trek and Marvel Super Heroes. An October 6 deal report put the Star Trek box at $170.61 and the Marvel box at $147.95; these are dated prices, not confirmation that either offer is still live. The key difference: Star Trek is scheduled to release November 13, while Marvel Super Heroes released June 26.
What Amazon sale is this?
The offers were reported during Prime Big Deal Days, Amazon’s October 6–7, 2026 event—not the retailer’s June Prime Day sale. | Product | Reported price | Reported discount | Release status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Star Trek Play Booster box | $170.61 | 19% off, according to the October 6 report | Upcoming; tabletop release scheduled for November 13, 2026 |
| Marvel Super Heroes Play Booster box | $147.95, down from $209.70 | 28% off, according to the October 6 report | Released June 26, 2026 |
The report also mentioned a Draft Night offer but did not provide a reliable price. The discount figures come from the report, not an independent confirmation of a current Amazon listing. Before buying, check the live product page for price, seller, stock, shipping costs, and Prime eligibility. A Play Booster box price should not be compared directly with the per-booster MSRP: Wizards lists Star Trek Play Boosters at $6.99 each and says a box contains 30 boosters, but does not establish a box MSRP in the cited product information.
Is the Star Trek MTG set available yet?
No. Wizards of the Coast lists the global tabletop release of Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek for November 13, 2026. Prerelease events are listed for November 6–12, and the MTG Arena release is November 10. Wizards says the set was available for preorder through retailers including Amazon.

Marvel products suit different ways of playing and collecting. Wizards’ buyer’s guide describes the Beginner Box as a way to learn, Jumpstart Boosters as a quick way to combine themed packs for a game, Play Boosters and Bundles for sampling the set, Draft Night for a group draft, Commander decks for multiplayer play, and Collector Boosters for collecting. Wizards lists the Marvel Bundle MSRP at $69.99 and Draft Night MSRP at $119.99; those are product MSRPs, not the reported Amazon deal prices.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which product format should you choose?
A Play Booster box is centered on boosters from a set. A different format may be a better fit if you want a guided first game, multiplayer decks, a group draft, or collector-focused packs. Compare like with like: release status, product contents, and the live total price for the format you actually want. Do not treat a product MSRP, a retailer’s list price, and a time-limited sale price as equivalent measures.

For Star Trek, Wizards lists these product MSRPs, which are context for the product lineup rather than confirmation of Amazon pricing:
| Star Trek product | Wizards-listed MSRP |
|---|---|
| Play Booster | $6.99 |
| Collector Booster | $37.99 |
| Commander Deck | $74.99 |
| Collector’s Edition Commander Deck | $159.99 |
| Bundle | $69.99 |
| Beam Me Up Bundle | $99.99 |
| Draft Night | $119.99 |
| Scene Box | $41.99 |
Wizards describes Draft Night as a ready-to-host group draft product with boosters, lands, and tokens. That makes it a different purchase from a Play Booster box, even when both are aimed at playing with boosters.
