Amazon deal coverage on October 6, 2026, put the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE at $574.99, $125 below its reported $699.99 recommended price. A separate report that day listed a $145 discount for Prime members, so the exact offer depends on the listing and should be checked at checkout. The October Big Deal Days event was scheduled for October 6–7; these are dated reports, not confirmation that either price is still available.
What the October 6 deal reports say
| Report | Reported offer | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Android Authority, October 6, 2026 | $574.99, down from $699.99; $125 off | The article’s stated Amazon price and reference price. It does not establish the current checkout price. |
| PhoneArena, October 6, 2026 | $145 off with Prime | A separate same-day discount figure. The reporting does not establish whether it concerns the same storage option or listing as Android Authority’s report. |
The two savings figures should not be combined or treated as interchangeable. Check which storage configuration is selected, whether the seller and Prime eligibility match the offer, and what Amazon shows at checkout. The event dates were reported as October 6–7, 2026, so availability and price may have changed.

What the Galaxy S26 FE offers
Samsung announced the S26 FE on August 27, 2026. Its official specification lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 60Hz or 120Hz refresh, an Exynos 2500 processor, and a 4,900mAh battery. Storage options are 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, with availability varying by market. The 4,900mAh figure is Samsung’s stated capacity; a deal article rounded it to 5,000mAh.

TechRadar reported launch pricing for the standard version at $699 in the US, £699 in the UK, and AU$1,149 in Australia. Its price table listed US 128GB at $699 and 256GB at $799, but no US 512GB price. Those are reported regional launch prices, not current listings. TechRadar also notes that the base S26 and S26 FE differ in storage configuration, so headline prices alone do not make a like-for-like comparison.

Is $574.99 a good price?
At the reported $574.99 price, the phone would be $125 below the $699.99 reference price used in Android Authority’s October 6 article. Whether that is a worthwhile buy depends on the exact storage option and its current price, as well as how it compares with other phones available to you. Because another report gave a different discount and the cited deal was tied to a short event window, verify the listing rather than relying on the headline savings.
SamMobile’s review describes the S26 FE as having a 6.7-inch 120Hz-capable display, wireless charging, a 4,900mAh battery, and seven years of updates. The reviewer argues that the $100 launch-price increase over the S25 FE is not matched by substantial upgrades and points to a discounted S25 FE as a value alternative. That is the reviewer’s assessment, not a universal verdict; compare the actual prices and the features you care about.

What to compare before buying
- Checkout price and storage: Confirm the selected capacity, seller, Prime eligibility, and final price. A 128GB offer is not directly comparable with a 256GB price.
- Screen: The S26 FE has a 6.7-inch FHD+ panel with refresh rates up to 120Hz. Decide whether the larger display and faster refresh matter more than other models’ differences.
- Performance and memory: Samsung specifies an Exynos 2500 processor. Compare chipset and RAM details on the exact alternative listing; a lower price alone does not show which phone will suit your workload better.
- Battery and charging: Samsung lists 4,900mAh capacity. SamMobile also notes wireless charging; check the charging details of any competing model you are considering.
- Software support: SamMobile reports seven years of updates. Consider whether that support and the software installed out of the box are important relative to an older discounted model.
Samsung positions the device as a way to bring Galaxy S-series features to more users. Jay Kim, Samsung’s Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Office, Mobile eXperience Business, said the phone was “purposefully designed to deliver the signature strengths of the Galaxy S series.” That is Samsung’s product positioning, rather than an independent assessment.
