Amazon’s reported early U.S. phone deals include $250 off the Galaxy Z Fold8, $150 off the Galaxy Z Flip8, and $100 off the 512GB Galaxy S26. The offers were reported ahead of Amazon’s October 6–7, 2026 Prime Big Deal Days event; prices and availability can change, so check the live listing and checkout terms before buying.
Which Samsung phones were reported on sale at Amazon?
These are reported offers, not confirmed current checkout prices. Gizmodo’s September 24, 2026, report gave specific U.S. Fold8 prices, while PhoneArena’s U.S. roundup, updated October 2, listed discounts on three Samsung models.

| Phone and configuration | Reported offer | Merchant and market | Report |
|---|---|---|---|
| Galaxy Z Fold8, 256GB | $1,650, which Gizmodo described as $250 below its stated $1,900 usual starting price | Amazon, U.S. | Gizmodo, September 24, 2026 |
| Galaxy Z Fold8, 512GB | $1,850, which Gizmodo described as $250 below its stated $2,100 price | Amazon, U.S. | Gizmodo, September 24, 2026 |
| Galaxy Z Fold8 | $250 off | Amazon, U.S. | PhoneArena, updated October 2, 2026 |
| Galaxy Z Flip8 | $150 off; PhoneArena’s detailed Samsung roundup says the offer was limited to a color variant | Amazon, U.S. | PhoneArena, updated October 2, 2026 |
| Galaxy S26, 512GB | $100 off | Amazon, U.S. | PhoneArena, updated October 2, 2026 |
The detailed Fold8 prices above are Gizmodo’s September 24 report; PhoneArena’s later roundup corroborates a $250 Amazon discount but does not provide those same configuration prices in the summarized offer. Neither report is a controlled price-history audit, so the stated reductions do not establish an all-time low.
How do the discounted phones differ?
- Galaxy Z Fold8: Samsung describes it as a book-style foldable with a wide cover display and a larger unfolded viewing area. The manufacturer lists folded and unfolded display ratios of 10:16 and 4:3, respectively, and 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. Its U.S. product page shows a $1,899.99 starting price before trade-in. These are manufacturer-listed specifications and pricing, not independent test findings. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 product page
- Galaxy Z Flip8: A clamshell foldable rather than the Fold’s book-style design. The reported Amazon discount may depend on choosing a particular color, so check the variant selector and final price.
- Galaxy S26, 512GB: A conventional S-series phone, not a foldable. PhoneArena reported $100 off this storage configuration at Amazon.
Are all the Samsung discounts in the roundup Amazon deals?
No. PhoneArena’s roundup also includes reductions on some S26 Ultra and Fold8 Ultra models at Samsung, while some older Galaxy offers are at Woot or Walmart. Those should not be presented as Amazon offers: check the named merchant for each listing.

What about Amazon UK and older foldables?
U.S. dollar offers and UK pound offers are separate market reports, not directly comparable prices. GSMArena reported on October 3, 2026, that Amazon UK had £180 off the Fold8 plus a checkout reduction, and up to £200 off the Fold8 Ultra plus a checkout reduction. The same report listed up to £850 off the Fold7 and £450 off the Flip7 at Amazon UK. The summarized report does not establish the final checkout totals for those UK offers. GSMArena, October 3, 2026
Do not convert the reported U.S. and UK figures into a like-for-like bargain comparison without checking the exact model, storage, taxes, checkout conditions, and live listing in each market.

When does Prime Big Deal Days begin?
Amazon’s official announcement schedules Prime Big Deal Days for October 6–7, 2026. It describes a 48-hour event for Prime members, with deals across more than 35 categories and new event deals dropping three times daily. That schedule concerns the main event; it does not establish that every early phone offer requires Prime membership. Check the eligibility shown on each listing. What to check before placing an order
Because the reports do not verify the current Amazon listing or checkout, use the product page to confirm the details that determine what you will actually pay and receive:
Quick Recap
- Confirm the storage size, selected color, and price after selecting the exact variant.
- Check whether the offer requires Prime, a trade-in, or another condition; do not assume a reported discount applies to every buyer.
- Verify the seller, stock status, shipping, unlocked or carrier status, and return terms on the live listing.
- Compare the final checkout total with the price for the same configuration, rather than treating a report’s reference price as proof of historical savings.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
