Amazon’s Bee wearable can now turn products mentioned in everyday conversations into shopping recommendations. After you opt in by connecting Bee to Amazon.com, suggested items can appear on the Amazon homepage and in Bee’s mobile and desktop apps. The shopping integration requires Bee Pro, which costs $11.99 per month after a 30-day trial for new customers.
How Bee turns conversations into Amazon recommendations
Bee is designed to listen during your day, identify useful information and create summaries or reminders. With an Amazon.com connection enabled, its software can also recognize when you mention something you intend to buy. Amazon says those items may later appear as personalized product recommendations on the Amazon homepage and inside Bee’s apps.

The feature is opt-in: linking a Bee account to Amazon.com is required, so a Bee owner does not automatically send conversation-derived shopping suggestions to an Amazon account. Recommendations are based on what Bee identifies in conversation, rather than on a manual search you perform at the moment.

Both models include a microphone button and a visible indicator light. The main practical choice is where you want recording to happen: Frontier stays with you on your wrist or clothing, while Eclipse is designed to remain attached to your phone. Prices and availability are Amazon’s 2026 listings and can change.

Do you need Bee Pro for Amazon shopping suggestions?
Yes. Bee’s purchase price includes conversation summaries, recaps and 14-day memory, but Amazon.com and Alexa+ integrations—including the shopping recommendation feature—are Bee Pro benefits. Bee Pro costs $11.99 per month. New Bee customers receive 30 days at no charge before the subscription fee applies.

How to enable shopping recommendations
- Set up Bee Frontier or Bee Eclipse in the Bee mobile app.
- Use Bee’s account or integrations settings to choose the Amazon.com connection.
- Review the permission request and opt in to linking Bee with your Amazon account.
- Start or continue a Bee Pro subscription, or activate the 30-day new-customer trial if eligible.
- Mention a product or a purchase need naturally in conversation. Bee can then process the conversation into an insight, while recommendations may appear later on Amazon.com or in Bee’s apps.
Amazon does not publish a guaranteed response time or a promise that every product mention will produce a recommendation. Treat the feature as a way to catch forgotten intentions, not as a complete shopping list.

Is Bee always listening?
Bee is built for ongoing, hands-free capture, so its microphones can hear surrounding conversation while the device is active. A physical microphone button and indicator light provide a visible recording control on both models. The light is intended to show the recording state, while the button lets you control recording without opening the app.

Amazon states that audio is processed in real time, converted into insights and deleted after processing. It also says transcripts are encrypted with keys created and controlled by the user’s device, and that users can delete transcripts and summaries. Bee says conversations remain private by default and are not accessible to Amazon unless the user chooses to share them.

Choose Eclipse for longer battery life and phone attachment

If your goal is Amazon product suggestions, include the recurring $11.99 Bee Pro fee in the cost. Buying the hardware alone provides summaries, recaps and 14-day memory, not the Amazon.com integration.

Limitations and privacy checks
- Recommendations depend on Bee correctly identifying a product or need in speech; Amazon publishes no independent accuracy or controlled performance statistics.
- Prices, availability, subscription entitlements and recommendation behavior can change.
- Raw audio deletion does not eliminate every privacy consideration: transcripts, summaries, account linking and nearby speakers still require active management.
- Use Bee’s controls to delete transcripts and summaries when you no longer want them retained.
For shoppers willing to opt in, Bee creates a new path from spoken intent to an Amazon suggestion. Frontier is the currently available entry point; Eclipse trades a higher starting price and future availability for substantially longer claimed battery life.
