Amazon announced Prime Big Deal Days on September 14, 2026, but the US shopping event is scheduled for October 6–7, 2026. It begins at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6, is advertised as a 48-hour Prime-member event, and includes selected deals rather than a discount on every product.
When is Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2026?
For the United States, Prime Big Deal Days is scheduled for October 6 and 7, 2026. Amazon says the event starts at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6 and lasts 48 hours. September is the announcement month, not the event month.

How large are the advertised savings?
Amazon advertises up to 45% off select Amazon devices and bundles and up to 70% off select Blink bundles. “Up to” applies only to qualifying offers and is not a typical or guaranteed saving across the event. Amazon also says more than one million items will be at its lowest price of the year so far. That is a promotional claim in the official announcement, not an independently audited price-history finding.
How to tell whether a deal is genuinely good
- Match the exact product. Compare model numbers, screen size, storage, generation and bundle contents. A bundle and a standalone device are not equivalent prices.
- Check price history. Amazon says Alexa for Shopping can show up to 365 days of price-history insights on hundreds of millions of products. Treat that feature as Amazon’s description and confirm what history is displayed for the specific listing.
- Read the offer conditions. Check Prime eligibility, coupons, required subscriptions, quantity limits, delivery date and whether the price is temporary.
- Check stock and seller details. Limited inventory, changing sellers and marketplace condition differences can alter the value of an apparent bargain.
- Compare the delivered total. Include tax, shipping where applicable, accessories you would otherwise need and any recurring service cost.
Amazon’s event hub, “What you need to know about Prime Big Deal Days,” also describes Alexa prompts for deal alerts, saved-item deals, price history and new-release alerts.

What happens if you shop outside the United States?
Amazon lists 22 participating countries but warns that dates may vary by country. Local currency, taxes, delivery coverage, Prime benefits, inventory and membership terms can all differ. Use the Amazon site for your delivery country and verify its event page rather than converting the US schedule or assuming a US deal will ship internationally.

- Make a shortlist of exact models and acceptable bundle contents before the event.
- Save products to your list and enable relevant Alexa alerts if you use Alexa.
- Record a reference price before October 6 so a percentage claim has context.
- Set a maximum delivered price and avoid substituting a different model simply because its discount percentage is larger.
- Recheck the listing, seller, return terms and delivery estimate immediately before placing the order.
