Reported sports-tech deals at a glance
These are prices reported by third-party deal roundups during the October 2026 event, not independently verified live offers. Because roundups disagree and listings can update, treat them as leads and confirm the price, model and configuration on Amazon before checkout.
| Category | Reported deal | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Running watch | Garmin Forerunner 165: $199.99 (reported as 20% off); Forerunner 55: $161.99 (reported as 19% off) | Roundup-reported October 2026 prices; verify the live listing and exact version. |
| Premium multisport watch | Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire: $529.99 (reported as 47% off); Enduro: $479.99 (reported as 47% off) | Roundup-reported October 2026 prices. These are not independent price-history findings. |
| General smartwatch | Apple Watch SE 3, 40 mm: $199 (reported as 20% off); Series 12, 42 mm: $349.99 (reported as 12% off) | Roundup-reported October 2026 prices; confirm the case size and current listing. |
| Rugged smartwatch | Apple Watch Ultra 3: $699.97 (reported as 22% off in one roundup) | Another roundup describes the discount as $199 off. The reporting conflicts, so check the live price and reference price rather than relying on either discount claim. |
| Sleep and recovery ring | Oura Ring 4 Stealth: $349 (reported as 13% off) | Roundup-reported October 2026 price; confirm ring size, finish and membership terms. |
Garmin: running watches and multisport models
Roundups reported discounts on several Garmin models, including the Forerunner 165 and 55 for running, and the older Epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire and Enduro for premium outdoor and multisport use. One roundup also described discounts of up to 45% across the Venu 4 and Fenix 9 lineup. That is a roundup’s broad claim, not confirmation that every model or configuration is discounted by that amount.

Before choosing a Garmin, compare the exact model and edition in the listing. Product names can cover different sizes and feature sets, and a discount against a seller’s displayed reference price does not establish that the offer is below the model’s recent typical price.
Apple Watch: confirm the model and the discount
The reported Apple Watch offers include the SE 3, Series 12 and Ultra 3. Treat the Ultra 3 discount percentage cautiously: sources describe its deal differently. Reporting also conflicts on whether the Series 11 is discounted, so this tracker does not present it as a confirmed deal. Check the live listing for the exact generation, size, connectivity option and final price.

Apple Watch is designed to work with iPhone; if you use Android, verify compatibility before buying. A low price is not useful if the watch does not fit your phone ecosystem.
Oura: include membership in the cost
A roundup reported the Oura Ring 4 Stealth at $349, but the ring’s upfront price is not the full cost for someone who wants all membership-dependent features. Oura requires a membership for full features, so review the current membership terms and recurring cost before comparing it with a watch. A roundup mentioned an Oura Ring 5 without a price; that mention alone does not establish a priced deal.

Prime Big Deal Days is a Prime-member event. Roundup reporting says a 30-day free Prime trial qualifies, but eligibility and trial terms can vary; check Amazon’s current terms before signing up. Amazon says the event includes more than 35 categories and a curated page of 165 top deals. Those are Amazon’s event figures, not a count of sports-tech offers.
Amazon says deals refresh three times daily through “Today’s Big Deals.” Variety reported refresh times of midnight Pacific, 8 a.m. Pacific and 1 p.m. Pacific. Alexa for Shopping can also set deal alerts. A deal appearing in the morning may change or disappear later, so recheck the listing when you are ready to buy.

How to check whether a deal is worth it
- Compare the live price, not just the discount label. Amazon advertises “up to 55% or more off” in Today’s Big Deals and says offers are mostly at their lowest prices of the year so far. Those are Amazon’s claims; they are not an independent price-history assessment.
- Check the precise product. Confirm generation, size, finish, connectivity and seller. Similar model names can refer to materially different configurations.
- Account for recurring costs. Whoop 5.0 bundles a membership for 12 months and then renews; check the renewal terms and ongoing cost. Oura membership also affects access to full features.
- Compare by use, not by discount percentage. A running watch, a premium multisport watch, an iPhone smartwatch and a recovery ring solve different problems. Battery life, phone compatibility, training features and subscription costs may matter more than the headline markdown.
- Verify availability at checkout. Prices and stock can shift during the event. Confirm the final total and seller on Amazon’s live product page before placing an order.
What happens after Prime Big Deal Days?
The event ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7. Sale pricing may no longer be available afterward; do not assume a reported deal will remain active. If you miss an offer, compare the next available listing price against the product’s usual price rather than treating the event’s discount label as a permanent benchmark.
