Amazon’s October 2026 event is Prime Big Deal Days, running October 6–7—not Prime Day. Amazon says Prime membership is required for event deals, but the official roundup reviewed here does not confirm a 38% discount on either LEGO Rivendell or the Road Bike set. The only specific Road Bike price found is a dated UK report: £78.79, down from £109.99. Check your local Amazon listing and its price history before buying.
What Amazon’s October LEGO deal information confirms
Amazon’s US announcement says, “Prime Big Deal Days is back, October 6-7.” The event runs October 6–7, 2026, and Amazon says Prime membership is required to shop its event deals. Its roundup is updated during the event, and offers are available while supplies last. Amazon’s event announcement and deal roundup provide the event details.

The roundup identifies a LEGO Technic Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica offer at up to 30% off. It does not substantiate the headline’s “up to 38% off” claim for Rivendell or Road Bike. That maximum should not be attributed to either set without a verified listing, marketplace, and comparison price.
Rivendell and Road Bike: what the sets are

- 6,167 pieces filled with movie magic – The set is an immersive project that’s bursting with details and references to The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, which all fans will recognize
- Detailed decor – Details include Frodo's bedroom and Elrond's study, and the different sections can be displayed separately: for example, the Council of Elrond can be lifted off the main model
- Iconic characters – The building set features 15 minifigures, including legendary characters such as Frodo, Sam, Bilbo Baggins, Boromir, Gimli, Aragorn, Legolas and Gandalf the Grey
- Recreate your favorite scenes – The set makes it easy to recreate iconic moments including the Council of Elrond scene and the moment the Fellowship crosses the bridge at the start of their journey
How to check whether a LEGO deal is worthwhile
- Open the product page for the exact set in your Amazon marketplace; do not assume a UK deal applies in the US or another country.
- Review the seller, stock status, delivery terms, and final checkout price. A headline discount does not establish that the item is available from the seller or under the terms you expect.
- Use Amazon’s product-page Price History to review up to 365 days of pricing data, as Amazon recommends. Compare the current price with that history rather than relying only on a stated percentage off.
- Recheck immediately before checkout. Amazon says event offers can change during the event and remain available only while supplies last.
Which set should you choose?
These sets suit different interests: Rivendell is a substantial Lord of the Rings display build, while Road Bike is a smaller cycling-themed model with working mechanical features. The available price evidence does not establish which is the better value. Compare the current local price, the set’s features, seller, availability, and delivery terms against what you want from the build rather than treating an advertised percentage as a ranking.
