Prime eligibility is the starting requirement
Standard access depends on an eligible, active Prime membership and acceptance of Luna’s Terms. Losing Prime eligibility or failing to accept the applicable terms can remove access to the Standard benefit. Standard should therefore be treated as an included service attached to Prime, not as a permanent free Luna account that exists independently of Prime.

The catalog is curated and rotating
Standard includes a selected group of cloud games rather than every game available through Luna. Amazon’s overview has used Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Hogwarts Legacy as examples associated with Standard. Those examples describe the catalog at the time of the cited update; they are not a guarantee that either title, or any other particular title, will remain included.
Amazon says Luna selections and availability can change by time and location. Before planning a purchase or a family game night around one title, open the current Luna game list while signed in to the account and territory you will use.
GameNight is part of the included experience
GameNight is a local multiplayer collection for friends and family playing together in the living room. Amazon’s service overview lists examples including Angry Birds Flock Party, Draw & Guess, Ticket to Ride, Exploding Kittens 2, Clue and Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg. It is a collection within Luna, not a separately described paid tier. As with the rest of the service, individual games and regional availability can change.

What Luna Premium adds
A larger library for a monthly charge
Premium includes the Standard offering and expands the available game library. The practical question is not whether Premium has more games in the abstract, but whether the current Premium catalog contains titles you would otherwise pay for or miss.

The $9.99 figure is the U.S. monthly amount shown in Amazon’s overview, updated September 21, 2026. Amazon cautions that prices may vary by territory, so do not convert it into a universal global price. Your account’s checkout or subscription page may show a different currency, tax treatment or billing offer.
Premium renews unless you cancel
Premium is recurring. Amazon says it renews automatically unless you cancel before the next charge. The Terms also say Amazon may change Premium prices, with a change generally applying from the next subscription period unless the notice or plan terms state otherwise. Check the renewal date and amount shown in your account rather than assuming the first displayed price will never change.

Standard versus Premium: the decision that matters
