Amazon’s 2026 Great Indian Festival smartphone announcement lists the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G at ₹84,999, including a ₹5,000 coupon offer. Selected smartphone deals are live early, but Amazon says the main sale opens to all customers at midnight on October 8, 2026. The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is a useful comparison, but its official India launch price is not a verified festival discount.
What is live, and when does the main sale open?
Amazon describes selected smartphone mega deals as already live ahead of the festival. Its broader sale announcement says the main Great Indian Festival opens to all customers at midnight on October 8, 2026. So “now live” refers to selected early deals, not necessarily the full sale for everyone. Amazon’s smartphone deals announcement and its sale timing announcement provide those details.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G: the named Amazon offer
Amazon India lists the Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G at ₹84,999, including a ₹5,000 coupon offer. That is Amazon’s announced offer, not a guaranteed checkout total for every buyer or model variant. The live listing, seller, stock and coupon eligibility can affect what a particular shopper pays.

Amazon also describes a 10% instant discount on SBI credit and debit cards and eligible credit-card EMI, alongside additional savings for Prime members. These offers depend on eligibility and transaction terms; confirm that they appear at checkout rather than treating them as automatic reductions.
#1 Best Overall
- Stunning 6.9″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with adaptive 1–120 Hz refresh rate, ultra‑bright up to ~2600 nits, HDR support, “Vision Booster,” and adaptive color tone — giving vivid colours, great outdoor visibility, and super‑smooth scrolling.
- Powerful internals: it runs on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (3 nm) chip, with 12 GB (or in some markets up to 16 GB) RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage — offering significantly improved CPU/GPU/NPU performance, especially for AI tasks, gaming, and heavy multitasking.
- Advanced quad‑camera system: 200 MP wide main sensor, plus a 50 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP periscope telephoto (5× optical zoom), and a 10 MP telephoto (3× optical zoom) — giving flexibility from ultra‑wide through detailed telephoto shots, and strong performance in varied lighting.
- 5,000 mAh battery with 45 W fast wired charging, wireless charging (Qi2) and reverse wireless charging — balancing long battery life with flexible charging options.
- Durable, premium build: Titanium‑frame body, protected by Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass, with IP68 dust/water resistance, ultrasonic in‑display fingerprint sensor, modern connectivity (5G, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth, UWB, USB‑C), and long‑term software support (Android 15 / One UI 7, promised 7 major OS/security updates).
OPPO Find X9 Ultra: launch price, not a confirmed festival deal
OPPO India announced the Find X9 Ultra on May 21, 2026. The 12GB+512GB configuration was listed at INR 1,69,999, with sales beginning May 26 through OPPO’s e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and retail outlets. This is the announced launch price, not evidence of an Amazon Great Indian Festival discount. OPPO’s India launch announcement also describes a Hasselblad camera system with a 50MP 10× optical zoom camera, 200MP main camera and 200MP 3× telephoto camera; these are manufacturer specifications, not independent test results.
How to compare the offers before buying
- Check the checkout total: confirm that the coupon and any SBI or Prime offer apply to your account and payment method.
- Match the exact configuration: verify storage, model variant and seller on the listing. The announced Galaxy price does not establish a price for every variant.
- Compare what is actually discounted: the Samsung figure is an announced Amazon offer; the OPPO figure above is its launch price. Do not infer a festival discount for OPPO from its availability on Amazon.
- Choose for your use: compare camera hardware with the kinds of photos you take, as well as performance and storage needs. The available offer information does not establish a definitive value winner between these phones.
What the announced prices do—and do not—tell you
The Samsung figure is a named offer from Amazon India, not an independently established lowest market price. For either phone, the final decision depends on the current listing and checkout terms; prices, stock and offer eligibility can change during the sale.
