TechRadar also reported the same $17.99 price during June Prime Day, so the available coverage supports calling it a repeated low—not a confirmed best-ever price. Check Amazon’s live listing for the current checkout price and terms before buying.
What is the $17.99 Fire TV Stick deal?
TechRadar’s October 2026 deal coverage listed the Fire TV Stick 4K Select for $17.99, compared with a stated $49.99 price. Those are reported US deal figures, not a guarantee that the offer is available now or that $49.99 reflects a verified price-history baseline. TechRadar’s October comparison and its deal coverage are the sources for the reported prices.

TechRadar says October Prime Day runs October 6–7, 2026, and notes that offers appeared early. Since that event window includes October 7, describing the deal as “ahead of Prime Day” may be inaccurate if you are reading this during or after the event. The coverage does not establish when the offer ends. Check the Amazon listing at checkout for the current price, eligibility, and any promotion terms.

That is not established by the available price reporting. TechRadar says the Select also reached $17.99 during June 2026 Prime Day, when its stated comparison price was $39.99. The October comparison price of $49.99 is higher, but neither figure is a complete historical price record. The evidence supports saying that TechRadar reported the same low in two 2026 deal periods; it does not prove an all-time low.

What the Fire TV Stick 4K Select offers
Amazon identifies the Fire TV Stick 4K Select as a 2025 streaming stick with 4K-capable HDMI output. Its official device listing gives the model identifier as AFTCA002 and lists Vega OS 1.1. See Amazon’s device specifications.
As a Fire TV Stick, it plugs into a television’s HDMI port and provides access to streaming apps and Alexa voice control, according to TechRadar. The Select supports 4K streaming, but TechRadar says it does not include Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos. In its comparison, those formats distinguish the higher-tier Fire TV Stick 4K Plus and Max models.

- Check the exact model before purchasing: the 4K Select is a distinct 2025 model, not a generic name for every Fire TV Stick.
For a model comparison, focus on the current checkout price and the formats you need rather than assuming every Fire TV Stick includes the same features.
