Which Fire TV Stick was on sale?
The October 6, 2026 deal article names the Fire TV Stick 4K Max, rather than the Fire TV Stick range generally. KhanList reproduced Android Police’s report of a $45 price against an $85 original price, a reduction of approximately 47%. Read the dated deal report. The cited report does not establish current availability, eligibility conditions, or the price shown at checkout on October 7.

What does the 4K Max offer?
Amazon identifies this as the 2nd-generation Fire TV Stick 4K Max, released in 2023. Its official specifications list 16 GB of storage and Wi-Fi 6E, along with Bluetooth 5.2. Amazon describes it as its most powerful streaming stick; that is Amazon’s characterization, not an independent comparative test. See Amazon’s Fire TV device specifications.
Amazon lists support for 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG video, plus Dolby Atmos audio. These are supported formats, not guarantees that every television, network, app, title or subscription will deliver them. The display, audio equipment, streaming service and specific content must also be compatible. Amazon’s support page notes that compatible apps and games are available through the Amazon Appstore. What to check before buying
- Live price: Confirm the listing price and final checkout total; the $45 figure comes from the October 6 deal report, not a live price check.
- Your setup: To benefit from 4K, HDR or Dolby Atmos, check that your TV and audio equipment support the formats you want and that the content and service provide them.
- Wired networking: Amazon says Ethernet requires an external adapter. The available information does not identify a specific adapter SKU, so verify compatibility before purchasing one.
- Apps and subscriptions: The deal article mentions Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Disney+, Amazon Luna, Xbox Game Pass and Nvidia GeForce Now. Those mentions do not mean subscriptions are included or that each service is available in every region; check regional availability and terms.
Is it the right Fire TV Stick for you?
The 4K Max is a sensible candidate if you want a streaming stick with 4K and several HDR formats, Dolby Atmos support, Wi-Fi 6E and 16 GB of storage. Whether it is the best value depends on your TV and network, the formats and apps you use, and the price currently offered. The available specifications and dated deal report do not provide a complete comparison with every Fire TV model or current competing price.
