Not every Amazon Fire tablet is confirmed on sale. October 2026 coverage reports discounts on selected models during Prime Big Deal Days, but those prices were not verified live and do not establish that every model or configuration is discounted. Amazon says the event ends October 7 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. If you have already chosen a model, check its exact listing and checkout price before deciding whether to buy; the available evidence does not show whether prices will fall or rise after the event.
Which Amazon Fire tablets have reported discounts?
These are dated reports, not confirmed current prices. Tom’s Guide reported the following offers in an article published October 2, 2026; Amazon’s event deals page separately advertised a discount of up to 47% on the Fire HD 8 Kids Pro.

| Model | Reported offer | Source and qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Fire HD 10 | $72.99, reduced from $154.99 | Tom’s Guide, October 2, 2026; not live verified. |
| Fire HD 8 Kids | $74.99, reduced from $149.99 | Tom’s Guide, October 2, 2026; not live verified. |
| Fire HD 8 Kids Pro | Up to 47% off | Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days deals page; the page’s maximum discount does not establish a price for every configuration. |
These offers do not substantiate the broader claim that every Fire tablet is on sale. Fire HD 8, Fire HD 10, Fire Max 11, and Kids or Kids Pro editions are different products, and a deal on one does not establish a discount on another.

Amazon’s stated Prime Big Deal Days window is October 6–7, 2026, ending October 7 at 11:59 p.m. PDT. Amazon says deals are available only while supplies last. That creates a deadline for offers that are still available, but it does not tell you whether a particular listing is in stock or predict what it will cost afterward. Amazon’s event announcement also says Alexa for Shopping can set deal alerts.

Buy during the event if the exact offer works for you
If the model and configuration you want is available at a price you consider worthwhile, the sale’s end is a reason to make a decision before the deadline. Confirm the seller, storage configuration, availability, and any Prime requirement on the live listing, then check the final price at checkout.
Wait if the deal or model is still uncertain
Waiting makes sense if the live listing does not match the reported model, the price is not compelling to you, or you have not decided which size or edition fits your needs. The dated reports cannot establish whether waiting will produce a better price, and the event deadline alone is not evidence that a discount is unusually low.

How to compare the Fire HD 8, Fire HD 10, and Fire Max 11
Compare the exact generation and edition before weighing a sale price. Amazon’s published specifications give a useful baseline for the 2023 Fire HD 10 and Fire Max 11, but they do not amount to an independent performance ranking.

Battery-life figures are manufacturer estimates, not guarantees for every use pattern. Amazon’s US policy says devices purchased new from Amazon.com as seller receive at least four years of security updates, unless the policy lists a later model-specific date. That is a software-support commitment, not a promise of how long a tablet will physically last.

Choose by screen and workload
The listed specifications distinguish screen size and memory: the HD 10 has a 10.1-inch 1080p display and 3GB RAM, while the Max 11 has an 11-inch display and 4GB RAM. Use those figures to compare size and stated memory, not to assume a particular speed advantage. Check the exact generation when comparing other Fire HD 8 or Kids variants.
Check accessory compatibility for the generation
Amazon lists the Fire HD 10 as compatible with its Made for Amazon Stylus Pen and Bluetooth Keyboard Case. The Fire Max 11 supports writing and drawing with the Made for Amazon Stylus Pen. Verify compatibility for the specific generation before buying an accessory.
