How Aman Sehrawat reached the final
Before his 14–8 semifinal win, Aman defeated Japan’s Yamato Ogawa 20–9 in the second round and Kazakhstan’s Nurdanat Aitanov 11–1 in the quarterfinal, according to United World Wrestling’s live coverage. Those results took him through to a final against Chong Song Han.

Antim opened with a 9–0 win over Kazakhstan’s Shugyla Omirbek, UWW reported, then advanced past Uzbekistan’s Sakibjamal Esbosynova by fall in the quarterfinal. Her 6–1 semifinal victory over Jin Zhang secured the final against Japan’s Moe Kiyooka.

Accounts differ on Antim’s quarterfinal score before the fall: UWW reported an 8–0 lead, while PTI described a 9–0 victory before the pin. The shared result is a win by fall, so a single score should not be treated as settled.
What the medal upgrade means
Both wrestlers had won bronze at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games. Reaching the 2026 finals gave each a chance to move up to silver or gold, but qualification for a final is not itself a medal result. The available reports published on 3 October named the opponents and recorded the semifinal wins; they did not confirm how either final ended.
