Moonlight is the highest listed option at 10,000x, but buying any Trail does not turn it on automatically—you must equip it from the Trail menu.

What a Trail actually changes
Trails are upgrades for the Treadmill training loop. Training produces Speed, and the equipped Trail multiplies that gain. Higher Speed helps your avatar travel to egg zones and make successful returns to base more quickly. Trails therefore accelerate the travel-and-training progression; they do not replace the pickaxe, egg-breaking, egg-stealing or other core mechanics.

The multiplier is only active for the Trail currently equipped. Owning a more expensive Trail in your collection has no effect while another Trail remains selected.
How to buy and activate a Trail
- Earn enough in-game cash for the Trail you want.
- Open the in-game shop or Trail interface and purchase the Trail.
- Open the Trail menu after the purchase.
- Select the purchased Trail and choose the equip option.
- Return to the Treadmill and train; the selected multiplier now applies to Speed gains.
Buying one only puts it in the Trail menu; the boost stays off until you equip it. If your Speed gains do not change after spending cash, check the Trail menu first and confirm that the new item is the active selection.

Choosing the best Trail for your progression
Best first purchase: White
White costs $500 and doubles Treadmill Speed. It is the practical entry point for a new cash balance because it delivers an immediate 2x improvement without a large investment.
Mid-game upgrades: Blue through Golden
Blue, Green, Purple, Red and Golden form the early-to-mid progression. Their multipliers rise from 4x to 100x, while prices increase from $7.5k to $250M. Upgrade when the next price is affordable without leaving you unable to fund the rest of your normal egg-zone runs.

Late-game targets: Rainbow through Moonlight
Rainbow provides 250x for $3.5B, Galactic 600x for $45B, Secret 1.5k for $600B, Laser 4k for $8T and Moonlight 10k for $100T. These are long-term cash goals; the jump to Moonlight is the largest listed investment, but it also gives the strongest published multiplier.
Cash or Robux for Moonlight
The cited game guide also lists an optional Moonlight price of 359 Robux. The cash route is explicitly listed at $100T, so spending Robux is not mandatory to obtain the top Trail through the published progression.

Common mistakes and fixes
- Buying and seeing no boost: open the Trail menu and equip the item; purchase alone only stores it.
- Expecting faster pickaxe or egg mechanics: Trails multiply Treadmill Speed, so they improve movement and run efficiency rather than directly changing pickaxe power or egg contents.
- Picking by rarity alone: compare the actual cash price and multiplier because rarity labels do not consistently follow shop order or cost.
- Saving for a distant upgrade too early: use the highest Trail you can afford while preserving enough cash for regular travel and egg runs, then move up the ladder as income grows.
