The Trenches, Munitions Mayhem and Chaos In The City contain 17 Secrets and three Purity Seals altogether. This route is exclusive to the campaign choice that sends you into the trenches; the alternate Novoza branch requires a new campaign, although completed levels can then be replayed through Level Select.
There Is Only War collectible totals
| Level | Secrets | Purity Seals | Common discovery methods |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Trenches | 4 | 1 | Exploration, a climb and a purple-key-area detour |
| Munitions Mayhem | 8 | 1 | Shooting a hidden skull, wall checks, switches and traversal |
| Chaos In The City | 5 | 1 | Side routes, climbing damaged structures and exterior ledges |
| Total | 17 | 3 | Both collectible types count separately |
Purity Seals are not interchangeable with Secrets. Several seals require a trigger, a jump route or a climb, so clear each arena and then recheck nearby side paths before moving on.

How to plan a 100% run
- Use the correct branch: selecting Novoza’s trenches route locks you into There Is Only War for that campaign.
- Track both counters: each level has a separate Secret total and Purity Seal total.
- Investigate before advancing: check side rooms, wall surfaces, holes and elevated platforms before leaving a key area, Purge arena or final combat space.
- React to triggers: shootable skulls, green switches and wall presses can open or expose routes that are not visible on the main path.
- Recover missed items: start a new campaign for the alternate branch, then use Level Select to replay available levels and clean up collectibles.
The most easily missed finds are the lower trench drop in The Trenches, both upper-area wall checks in Munitions Mayhem, and the exterior loops in Chaos In The City. Treat each change in elevation or building exterior as a possible collectible route rather than assuming the visible corridor is complete.
