Fortnite Override’s Quack Sprites are unlocked through Sprite Mastery, not from a chest or a V-Bucks purchase. In the live Season 4 tracker checked on October 15, 2026, the five rewards require 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 mastered Sprites. Once equipped, a Quack Sprite accelerates progress for other Sprites by sharing Sprite XP.
Every Quack Sprite and its mastery requirement
The final Sprite Mastery rewards page became available with Epic Games’ v42.40 update on October 15, 2026. The current tracker lists five Quack rewards:

The names and thresholds come from the live Season 4 mastery tracker. The reviewed sources do not document a separate Quack-only power for each name. Their practical difference is their position on the mastery track and the base Sprite identity they represent.
How to unlock all five Quack Sprites
Mastery counts successful Level 5 extractions, not simply the number of Sprites you pick up. Use this loop for each Sprite:

- Pick up a Sprite in a match. Add it to your inventory and equip it so it can gain experience.
- Level the equipped Sprite to Level 5. Keep earning its normal Sprite XP during the match.
- Extract successfully. A Level 5 Sprite only registers toward mastery after a successful extraction. If you fail to extract it, that run does not advance the mastered-Sprite total.
- Repeat the run. Continue until your tracker reaches 40 mastered Sprites for Quack Jonesy, then 45, 50, 55 and 60 for the remaining rewards.
- Collect the reward on the Sprite Mastery page. Epic’s v42.40 update places the Quack rewards on the mastery track rather than behind a separate shop or item requirement.
The fastest reliable route is therefore not a particular chest location; it is a repeatable Level 5 extraction cycle. Play for survival once a Sprite is close to Level 5, because losing the extraction is more costly than taking a slower route to the exit.
What the Quack Sprite effect does
Epic describes the Quack effect in the v42.40 update notes as boosting every Sprite you are carrying with extra Sprite XP whenever it gains XP. A 2026 gameplay explanation quantifies the passive as 50% of the Sprite XP earned by the equipped Quack being shared with the other Sprites in your inventory.
In practical terms, the equipped Quack remains your active Sprite, while the other carried Sprites receive progress at the same time. That means one successful run can advance several collection entries instead of requiring every Sprite to be leveled independently. The 50% figure refers to the shared amount reported by the gameplay source; Epic’s wording explains the behavior rather than publishing a separate percentage in the update sentence.

Example of the shared-progress behavior
Suppose your Quack is equipped and three other unmastered Sprites are in your inventory. When the Quack earns Sprite XP, those other Sprites receive the Quack share described above. They still need to complete their own mastery conditions and be extracted successfully, but they can progress during the same run.
Which Quack should you equip?
All five Quacks perform the same collection-level XP role according to the available descriptions. Choose the first one you unlock—Quack Jonesy at 40 mastered Sprites—and equip later variants as you obtain them if you prefer their base Sprite identity. There is no documented Quack-specific XP advantage for Quack Bushranger, Quack Adventure, Quack Spooky Dash or Quack Klombo over the others.
For collection building, the important decision is to equip any unlocked Quack while carrying unmastered Sprites. Carrying only already-mastered Sprites wastes the shared-XP opportunity.

Requirements, limits and common mistakes
- Mastery is the gate: the five current thresholds are 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 mastered Sprites.
- Level 5 is required for the documented loop: picking up a Sprite without reaching Level 5 does not count as a mastered Sprite in this progression method.
- Extraction is required: a Sprite that reaches Level 5 but is not extracted successfully does not advance the mastery total.
- The reward is not a normal loot item: the reviewed sources identify Quack Sprites as Sprite Mastery rewards, not chest drops, shop purchases or accessories.
- Shared XP is inventory-dependent: to benefit, equip the Quack and carry other Sprites that still need progress.
- Availability may change: the current Override season is reported to run through October 31, 2026. Check the in-game tracker after that date because reward availability and thresholds can change with a season update.
A practical route to 60 mastered Sprites
- Before entering a match, decide which unmastered Sprites you want to progress together.
- Equip an unlocked Quack and fill the remaining inventory slots with Sprites that still need mastery.
- Prioritize safe XP gains and avoid unnecessary fights once the active Sprite is near Level 5.
- Confirm the Sprite reaches Level 5, then complete the extraction rather than abandoning the run.
- After the match, check the mastery page and record your new total. Repeat until the next threshold is reached.
- At 60 mastered Sprites, verify that all five reward entries are available or claimed on the final mastery page.
This approach turns the Quack passive into a multiplier for collection work: the equipped Quack earns the run’s XP, while the other carried Sprites receive the documented shared portion.
