How the roster and unlock list are organized
The game brings back more than 40 officers from the original roster alongside Ziluan, a protagonist from DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS, according to KOEI TECMO America’s October 1, 2026 launch announcement. The game launched October 1, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC via Steam. It includes the original Dynasty Warriors 3 and Dynasty Warriors 3: Xtreme Legends content. The publisher says the remaster adds scenarios featuring officers obtained by meeting specific conditions, but does not publish a full character-by-character unlock checklist in the cited announcement.

The conditions in the tables are paraphrased from Skeith Ruch’s October 3, 2026 Raider King unlock guide. They are reported routes, not independently confirmed publisher instructions. “Clear Musou Mode” means complete a campaign with the named character or faction, as specified in the condition.

Which unlocks to prioritize
The reported routes fall into two practical groups: campaign clears and objectives within a particular battle. This is a way to plan around the listed requirements, not a completion-time ranking.
Plan around Musou Mode clears
For several officers, the condition calls for one campaign clear with a specified faction or character; others need two clears with that faction. Zhuge Liang and Sima Yi each accept a clear with either of two factions. Jiang Wei, Fuxi and Nuwa have named-character requirements, while Ziluan’s listed requirement accepts a clear with any character. If you are working toward multiple roster entries, the conditions suggest choosing campaign characters that satisfy more than one of your remaining goals.
Watch for battle-specific objectives
Other unlocks depend on the outcome of a named encounter: keeping Lu Meng alive, making Taishi Ci surrender, defeating an officer, or meeting a KO count. Read the relevant condition before entering the listed stage, because a straightforward stage clear may not be enough. For objectives that require an officer to survive or a particular order of defeats, prioritize that requirement over unrelated fighting.
