The beta-derived directory lists 14 quests assigned to Excavation Site: Wetlands. Most show level 31 in the quest log; Highland Hides shows level 28. Those quest-log levels are not dungeon entry requirements: the quests can be picked up as early as level 24, while the beta Group Finder level is 26 and Wowhead recommends the dungeon for levels 26–32. This list reflects beta build 1.60.1.70205, dated October 3, 2026, and may change.

The directory does not mark the unlabelled entries as faction-limited; confirm availability in-game because beta data can change. It identifies quest levels and faction labels, while the linked quest guide provides several giver locations and prerequisite details. Individual beta quest pages help distinguish text-derived turn-ins from giver sightings.

Where Excavation Site is and how to reach it
Excavation Site: Wetlands is a five-player dungeon in the Wetlands, Eastern Kingdoms. Wowhead describes Alliance access from Menethil Harbor or Loch Modan; Horde players approach overland through Hillsbrad Foothills and Arathi Highlands. A secondary dungeon guide reports entrance coordinates 52,38, but that exact pin is not confirmed by a primary game map in the reviewed sources. Wowhead describes the entrance as being at the top of the hill.

How to interpret the level numbers
The different figures measure different things. The beta quest index reports levels assigned to quests; some quest pages allow pickup from level 24. Separately, the beta dungeon reference gives Group Finder level 26, and Wowhead’s current overview recommends level 26–32. A level-24 quest pickup therefore does not mean level 24 is a good level to run the instance.
For current details, consult the WoW Forever Talents beta quest directory and Wowhead’s Forever dungeon coverage. The directory says its data comes from answers returned by the beta server to a running client; it is not an official Blizzard statement. Wowhead’s overview, updated October 2, 2026, also cautions that beta coverage may be incomplete.
