HotHardware described all three as record or all-time-low prices at the time. Those are historical 2025 prices, not confirmed live deals today; retailer pages must be checked before buying.

The Black Friday 2025 prices
| Product | Reported deal price | Reported regular price | Reported discount | Retailer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AirPods Pro 3 | $219.99 | $249.99 | $30 (12%) | Amazon and Best Buy |
| AirPods 4 | $79.99 | Approximately $129.99 | $50 (38%) | Amazon |
| AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation | $99.99 | Approximately $179.99 | $80 (44%) | Amazon |
These figures come from HotHardware’s November 24, 2025 deal report: the original Black Friday coverage. The Pro 3 promotion had reportedly appeared first as a Best Buy Deal of the Day before continuing at both retailers. Because the report was published before Black Friday, “Black Friday deal” referred to an early sale window rather than necessarily a promotion limited to Black Friday itself.

What “lowest price ever” actually means
HotHardware called $219.99 an all-time low for AirPods Pro 3 and described the two AirPods 4 prices as record lows. That is a contemporaneous deal claim, not a complete price-history database covering every retailer, region, seller, condition, or later promotion. The careful interpretation is “the lowest price reported by HotHardware at that time.”
The discounts also applied to three different products. The $79.99 model was standard AirPods 4 without ANC; the $99.99 model was AirPods 4 with ANC. They should not be treated as interchangeable listings.

Which AirPods 4 model was on sale?
AirPods 4
The standard AirPods 4 use an open-style fit and do not include Active Noise Cancellation. Apple lists an H2 chip, Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, Voice Isolation, IP54 dust, sweat and water resistance, up to five hours of listening on one charge, and up to 30 hours with the USB-C charging case. Details are on Apple’s AirPods 4 product page.

This version adds ANC, Adaptive Audio, Transparency mode, and Conversation Awareness while retaining the open-style design. Its case supports USB-C, Qi-certified and Apple Watch charging, and includes a speaker for Find My. Apple rates it for up to four hours per charge with ANC enabled and up to 20 hours with ANC enabled using the case. Those are “up to” figures that vary with volume, settings and feature use.

The open fit can suit people who dislike silicone tips or a sealed ear canal, but it generally provides less passive isolation than an in-ear design. Comfort is personal; no fit is universally best.
What AirPods Pro 3 adds
Apple’s AirPods Pro 3 page lists an in-ear silicone-tip design, ANC, the H2 chip, heart-rate sensing for workouts, IP57 dust, sweat and water resistance, and up to eight hours of listening with ANC on a single charge. Apple also lists Live Translation plus Hearing Aid and Hearing Protection capabilities, subject to compatible hardware and software, supported languages and regions, local availability, eligibility and applicable regulations.

Apple claims AirPods Pro 3 remove up to twice as much unwanted noise as AirPods Pro 2 and up to four times as much as the original AirPods Pro. Those are Apple’s comparative claims, not independent laboratory measurements. The source deal report also stated that its writer had not tested AirPods Pro 3, so the reported price should not be read as independent validation of sound, comfort, call quality, ANC or battery performance.

Which model should you buy?
Choose AirPods Pro 3 for the fullest feature set
- You want the strongest isolation and ANC option in this comparison.
- You prefer an in-ear seal and are comfortable using silicone tips.
- Workout heart-rate sensing or hearing-health features matter to you.
- You regularly commute, fly or work around sustained noise.
At the reported sale prices, Pro 3 cost $120 more than either AirPods 4 version. That premium pays for the in-ear acoustical design, additional sensors, higher resistance rating and health-related capabilities—not a different processor; all three models use Apple’s H2 chip.
Choose AirPods 4 with ANC for lower-cost noise cancellation
- You want ANC but prefer an open-style fit.
- You need wireless charging or a Find My speaker in the case.
- You want to spend less than the Pro 3 price while keeping Apple’s current H2 platform.
It is not the same product as AirPods Pro 3: the fit, passive seal, resistance rating, sensor package and battery behavior differ.
Choose standard AirPods 4 for the lowest-cost Apple experience
- You do not need noise cancellation.
- You prefer a less-sealed fit or dislike silicone tips.
- Your priorities are Apple-device integration, calls, music and Spatial Audio at the lowest reported price.
Checks to make before buying a listing
- Confirm the exact name: AirPods Pro 3, AirPods 4, or AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation.
- Check that the item is new rather than refurbished, open-box or used.
- Verify the seller, fulfillment method, warranty coverage and return window.
- Confirm the charging-case configuration, especially if you expect ANC, wireless charging or a Find My speaker.
- Check the delivery date and final checkout price; a retained product page does not prove the old promotion is still active.
- For feature-dependent functions, verify compatible Apple hardware, software, languages, region and any health-feature eligibility requirements.
Where to check availability
Use Apple’s official pages for model identification: AirPods Pro 3 purchase page and AirPods 4 purchase page. Apple’s store can provide direct support, engraving and Apple Store pickup, while Amazon and Best Buy may offer stronger promotions, local pickup or easier returns depending on the listing.
For retailer searches, see Amazon’s AirPods Pro 3 results, Best Buy’s AirPods Pro 3 results, and Apple’s AirPods shopping page. Prices and sellers can change, so use separate checks for each exact model rather than a generic “Shop AirPods” link.
The Bottom Line
The November 2025 deals were genuinely exceptional according to contemporaneous coverage, but they are historical rather than confirmed current prices. Standard AirPods 4 were the budget pick, AirPods 4 with ANC the value ANC option, and AirPods Pro 3 the premium choice for an in-ear seal, broader sensing and hearing features. Verify today’s retailer price, condition and exact model before purchasing.
