On Global servers, Aion 2’s daily reset is currently listed as 07:00 UTC, and the weekly reset occurs every Wednesday at 07:00 UTC. That is 16:00 in Korea Standard Time. Some Korea- and Taiwan-oriented pages show 05:00 server time instead, so use the countdown in your own Journal or activity panel as the final authority when clocks disagree.
A reset refills a defined allowance; it does not generally create a second allowance for a day you skipped. Weekly entries normally expire unused, while certain charge-based systems can store charges up to their stated cap. Limits are often shared across characters on one server, and an abnormal instance disconnect has a separate 10-minute reconnection rule that is unrelated to the daily or weekly reset.

What time is the Aion 2 reset?
For Global-server planning in 2026, the most consistent reference is 07:00 UTC every day. The weekly boundary is Wednesday at 07:00 UTC. Aion2Data describes its client-data clock as 16:00 Korean time and reads that as 07:00 UTC on Global servers; Aion2Maps reports the same daily and Wednesday schedule.
At 07:00 UTC, activities that use a daily counter become available again, while weekly activities receive their Wednesday allocation. The exact behavior still belongs to each activity’s tooltip. A patch, regional service change, or a different server-clock display can alter what you see, so treat the live in-game countdown as more authoritative than a static guide.

Converting the Global reset to Korea time
07:00 UTC is 16:00 KST (UTC+9). That makes the weekly reset Wednesday at 16:00 in Korea. If you are planning around another region, convert 07:00 UTC to your local time rather than assuming that a displayed “server time” label uses the same zone.
Why do some pages say 05:00?
Some Korea- and Taiwan-oriented pages present a 05:00 server-time daily reset and a Wednesday weekly reset. This appears to be a service-clock presentation difference rather than proof of a second Global schedule. The safest interpretation is practical: open the activity panel, read the timer attached to the activity you intend to run, and use that timer when external clocks conflict. A current guide notes that no official Global reset announcement was found, which is another reason not to plan from an unlabeled server-time figure.
Daily and weekly limits at a glance
The following are representative current allowances reported for 2026. “Does not accumulate” means that unused entries do not increase the next allowance. A charge system is different: it can add charges over time and retain them until a cap is reached.

The table separates a known allowance from an unknown banking rule. Do not infer that every activity with a number is a stored-charge system. Aion 2 Timers lists capped Nightmare and other charge systems, but the tooltip for the specific resource remains the deciding statement about its cap and recovery.
Does Aion 2 catch up missed daily tasks?
There is no universal catch-up promise for missed daily tasks. A daily reset refills the normal daily allowance; it does not automatically add yesterday’s unused Duty missions or attempts to today’s total. If an activity uses a charge meter, charges may accumulate until the meter’s cap, but that is resource banking, not a blanket catch-up mechanic.

Fixed daily allowances
Duty missions are listed at five per day and Nightmare at two attempts per day. If you leave those fixed opportunities unused, plan on losing that day’s opportunity when the boundary passes unless the relevant in-game description explicitly says otherwise. The game may show a remaining count, a refill timer, or a separate energy meter; those labels matter more than the activity’s name.
Capped charges
Some systems add a charge at intervals and stop adding when the meter reaches its cap. For those systems, missing a reset may not immediately waste a charge if room remains below the cap. Once the cap is full, additional regeneration is lost until you spend one. Read the resource panel for three pieces of information: current charges, maximum charges, and the next-charge timer.
What “catch-up” does not mean
- It does not mean a missed day is converted into an extra weekly entry.
- It does not mean a weekly counter doubles after Wednesday.
- It does not mean an alt receives a fresh allowance when another character on the same server has already spent it.
- It does not override an activity-specific cap shown in the tooltip.
Do weekly entries carry over?
Current guidance says no for the representative weekly activities. Exploration rewards refill at Wednesday’s reset, with seven rewards per dungeon per week, and Ascension Trial provides three weekly entries. Unused weekly attempts do not accumulate above the normal allowance. Treat each Wednesday-to-Wednesday period as a spending window.
Planning the weekly window
- Check the weekly counter immediately after Wednesday’s reset so you know the full allowance.
- Prioritize entries that cannot bank and have the longest queue, party, or travel requirements.
- Leave a buffer before Wednesday 07:00 UTC for disconnects, party replacement, or a failed run.
- Recheck the counter after claiming a reward; an entry can be consumed by completion or by a reward claim depending on the activity’s rules.
Do not spend a weekly entry solely because a third-party timer says the week is ending. Confirm the in-game counter and reward state first, especially after a patch.
Are reset limits shared between alts?
Many limits are per server, so one character can consume an allowance that another character on the same server would otherwise use. The official Expedition guide specifically says that unclaimed cube-reward counts reset weekly and are shared by characters on the same server.

What server sharing means in practice
If your main character claims a server-shared reward, an alt should not be expected to receive a second copy merely because it has a separate inventory or quest log. Coordinate before claiming scarce weekly rewards. A useful routine is to decide which character will perform the activity, then avoid testing the same counter on another character until the first result is recorded.

Server sharing is not a claim that every progression or inventory system is shared. Character progression, equipment, and other personal systems can remain character-specific. Check the scope label for each activity instead of extrapolating from the Expedition cube rule. When the interface does not state “server,” assume nothing until the counter behavior is clear.
What if you disconnect during an instance?
An abnormal disconnect from Expedition, Transcendence, or Sanctuary has a separate 10-minute reconnection grace period, according to the official AION2-NC Expedition guide updated September 23, 2026. Reconnect within that window with the same party to attempt re-entry without deducting a count.
Recovery procedure
- Restart the client or restore the connection immediately; do not wait for the daily or weekly reset.
- Rejoin the same party if possible.
- Use the instance re-entry option before abandoning the room.
- After re-entry or failure, inspect the activity’s reward and entry counters.
- Record whether a count was deducted before contacting support or making another attempt.
The 10-minute rule protects an interrupted run; it does not bank a missed daily task or restore a weekly entry after the reset boundary. Reconnect first, then verify the counter before leaving the instance.
A reliable pre-reset checklist
Use this sequence before either the 07:00 UTC daily boundary or the Wednesday weekly boundary:

- Read the live timer. Open the Journal or activity panel and note the countdown shown for your region.
- Spend capped resources. Use charges or energy that are close to their maximum so regeneration does not stop.
- Finish fixed daily work. Complete remaining Duty missions and daily attempts that do not explicitly bank.
- Use expiring weekly entries. Spend Exploration and Ascension Trial capacity that will not carry over.
- Coordinate your server roster. Decide which alt will consume server-shared rewards before anyone claims them.
- Protect active instances. If disconnected, reconnect within 10 minutes rather than abandoning the run.
- Confirm the result. After the boundary, reopen each counter and verify that the refill occurred.
How to troubleshoot a reset that appears late
The countdown passed but the counter did not refill
Close and reopen the activity panel, then relog if necessary. Some interfaces update the visible counter only after a panel refresh. Check whether the counter is daily, Wednesday-weekly, or charge-based; a weekly activity will not refill at the daily boundary.
The displayed time conflicts with a website
Use the game client’s countdown and label the time zone in your notes. A 05:00 server-time display and a 07:00 UTC Global reference can both appear in guides without describing the same clock. Avoid converting a bare “server time” value until you know the server region and offset.
An alt has fewer entries than expected
Check whether the activity is server-shared. For Expedition cube rewards, the official rule is that the unclaimed count is shared across characters on the same server. If the activity is not labeled, compare the counter before and after a controlled claim and keep progression or inventory differences separate from reset behavior.
A reward disappeared after a disconnect
First determine whether you reconnected within the 10-minute grace period and with the same party. Then inspect the entry and reward counters. A reset timer cannot undo a count already consumed by an abandoned or completed run.
Examples for planning around the boundary
Missing one daily reset
Suppose you finish no Duty missions before 07:00 UTC. The next day’s normal allowance is still the next daily allowance, not five missions for the missed day plus five for the new day. The same conservative assumption applies to the two reported Nightmare attempts unless that resource’s tooltip shows a stored-charge meter.
Missing a Wednesday weekly reset
If you do not log in on Wednesday, the weekly counters still refill at the Wednesday boundary. They remain available during the new week, but the prior week’s unused Exploration or Ascension Trial entries do not roll forward to increase the new allowance.
Two characters sharing one server
Your main claims an Expedition cube reward, then your alt opens the same activity. The alt should be checked against the server-wide unclaimed count, not treated as a completely independent weekly pool. Decide which character benefits before claiming the reward.
Keeping your schedule accurate after patches
Reset times and limits are service data, not permanent character statistics. A patch can change a timer, an allowance, or whether a resource banks. Keep the activity tooltip, the Journal countdown, and the server label visible when comparing information. If they disagree, follow the live timer and the exact wording attached to the counter, then test a low-risk activity before committing a scarce weekly entry.
