The reported routes for farming Enhance Stones in Aion 2 are dismantling equipment you have outgrown, running the daily dungeon, and dismantling spare wings. NCSOFT also named Pafnite Refinery and Orcus’s Heart as raid sources of large quantities in a January 2026 update. Which route is best depends on what your character can enter and what the live reward preview shows for your region and patch.
Where to get Enhance Stones
Dismantle equipment you no longer need
A recent creator guide identifies dismantling outgrown equipment as a primary source during leveling. Before dismantling an item, check its current output and whether you may still need it for another purpose. This route trades the item itself for materials, so its value depends on what you give up.

Run the daily dungeon
The same guide describes the daily dungeon as a short solo activity that awards Enhance Stones. It does not establish a universally current payout, entry limit, or schedule. Check the in-game activity and reward displays rather than relying on a fixed number from a guide.

Dismantle spare wings
The creator guide also calls out spare wings as a source. Confirm the dismantling output and make sure the wings are genuinely surplus before breaking them down.

Check raid rewards
NCSOFT’s Second Season update, dated January 21, 2026, names Pafnite Refinery and Orcus’s Heart as raids where players can obtain large quantities of Enhancement Stones and Ariel’s Traces. The update uses a qualitative description, not a stone count. Check that the raids and their rewards are available in your current regional build.
How to choose a farming route
There is no supported universal ranking by stones per hour. Compare the activities your character can currently access using the live reward preview and current regional notices:

- Stone yield per clear: Use the reward display for the activity and your character’s eligibility.
- Reward and entry limits: Check whether rewards are daily, weekly, or otherwise capped; the official information available does not establish every current cap.
- Time to complete: Compare your actual clear time rather than assuming that a short activity has the best total return.
- Solo or group access: The daily dungeon is reported as solo; raid and expedition access may require a group or other eligibility conditions.
- Opportunity cost: Include the value of equipment or wings you would dismantle, not just the stones received.
NCSOFT’s expedition guide explains expedition types, reward eligibility, and named dungeons, but does not provide a consolidated Enhance Stone yield table. It also cautions that some guide information may differ from the live game, so use current update notices and in-game details to confirm access and rewards.
What to verify before spending time or materials
- Confirm that the activity appears in your regional client and that your character meets its entry requirements.
- Open the activity’s reward preview and check the Enhance Stone payout before committing to a run.
- Check remaining entries or reward claims for the relevant reset period.
- For dismantling, inspect the item’s current output and weigh it against any other use for the gear or wings.
- Use current regional patch notes for changes; older guide descriptions may not reflect the live build.
How Enhance Stones fit into upgrades
Enhance Stones are an upgrade material, but they are distinct from other AION 2 upgrade currencies. A third-party guide reports guaranteed enhancement through +10 and lists material costs; those details are version-sensitive and should not be treated as current costs without checking the client or official notes. Review the upgrade screen before committing materials, especially if you are deciding whether to spend stones on one item or save them for another.
