There is no verified, universal “diamond farming” route for AION 2 yet. The current community references reviewed here do not establish Diamond as a currency, and their mentions of gem materials do not identify a specific item, source or drop table. If “diamond” means the game’s gold-like currency, the relevant name appears as Kina or Kinah depending on the guide and client. That currency is separate from Abyss Points.
For a useful comparison, first identify the exact item in your regional client. Then compare dungeons, quests or duties, open-world and Abyss activities, and market or crafting income using the same measures: time, access requirements, tradeability, limits and net proceeds after costs. The available guides describe these routes, but they do not provide an official, date-and-region-qualified dataset that can prove one method is always the fastest.

Before farming, establish what “diamond” means
The title is ambiguous because none of the reviewed references confirms a current AION 2 currency named Diamond. AION 2 WikiRealm’s AION 2 Currencies Explained (updated October 7, 2026) discusses the currency system but does not settle Diamond’s identity. MetaBot.GG’s AION 2 Kinah Farming Guide (updated October 6, 2026) mentions gem materials and market activity, yet does not confirm that “diamond” is the name of a farmable currency. A gem-shaped icon, a crafting component or a translated item name is not enough evidence to treat it as spendable money.

- Open the item’s tooltip and record its exact spelling, category and description. Do not rely on a guide’s spelling if the client uses a different translation.
- Check whether the item appears in the currency or wallet interface, or only in an inventory or materials tab. A wallet balance and a stackable material have different farming and trading rules.
- Read the binding and trading fields. Determine whether the item is bound to the character, bound to the account, or transferable through the player market.
- Inspect the stated sources in the item details, such as a dungeon, duty, gathering node, quest, event or crafting recipe. Verify that the source exists in your region and current patch before spending time on it.
Until those checks identify a specific item and source, a “diamond-per-hour” comparison would be guesswork. The safe comparison is between the documented currencies and their established earning channels.

Kina or Kinah and Abyss Points are different economies
Community guides consistently distinguish a gold-like currency, spelled Kina or Kinah, from Abyss Points. The spelling varies across sources, so use the label shown by your regional client and state the region and patch when sharing a route. AION 2 Cyou’s AION 2 Kinah — Currency, Farming and How to Spend describes Kina/Kinah as a core currency earned through gameplay and trade-related activity. The Aion 2 Database guide How to make Kinah in AION 2: dungeons, market and alts (October 2, 2026) likewise treats it as the main money-making target and discusses bound and unbound forms.
Abyss Points are presented separately in AION 2 Cyou and WikiRealm. They are associated with Abyss activity and dedicated progression or purchases, not simply interchangeable gold. A character can therefore be rich in Kina/Kinah while still lacking the Abyss Points needed for an Abyss-related use, and the reverse can also be true.
| Resource | How the guides describe it | What to verify locally |
|---|---|---|
| Kina/Kinah | Core currency obtained from gameplay and trade-related activity; spelling differs among community pages. | Exact client spelling, bound versus unbound balances, spending locations, caps and market rules. |
| Abyss Points | Separate progression currency associated with Abyss activity and dedicated uses. | Which activities award points, the current rank or purchase requirements, and whether points can be exchanged for anything else. |
| “Diamond” | Not established by the reviewed sources as a currency. Gem-material references do not identify a definitive item or route. | Tooltip identity, item category, binding, tradeability and an in-client source before farming. |
The distinction matters when comparing efficiency. A route that produces Abyss Points may be the right choice for Abyss progression but cannot be counted as Kina/Kinah income unless it also gives that currency or tradable drops.

What can be compared, and what cannot
The guides identify several income channels: dungeons, quests or duties, open-world activity, Abyss activity, and player-market sales based on gathering, drops or crafting. They do not publish a robust, official comparison of yields under the same patch, region, character level, time measurement and market conditions. The table therefore shows the evidence available without inventing rates.
| Route | Reward or value described by community guides | Access, limits and time data | Economic caution |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dungeons | Recurring reward systems and Kina/Kinah income; some rewards may also be items for sale. | Current entry requirements, run time and daily or weekly limits are not stated consistently across the reviewed guides. | Separate direct currency from tradable drops and account for any binding. |
| Quests and duties | Missions or duties are described as routine currency sources. | Exact payouts, reset rules and regional availability are not established in a like-for-like dataset. | Useful for progression, but do not assume the same return after a first-clear reward changes. |
| Open-world activity | Guides identify open-world play, enemies and drops among possible earning routes. | Respawn, competition, level requirements and caps vary by location and version. | Count raw currency separately from materials or drops whose prices move on the market. |
| Abyss activity | Abyss play can produce Abyss Points and may also provide currency or saleable rewards. | Point rules, access requirements and activity limits depend on the current client. | Do not convert Abyss Points into a Kina/Kinah rate unless the game provides a confirmed exchange or a clearly priced reward. |
| Market, gathering and crafting | Trade, gathering and crafting are described as possible Kina/Kinah routes. | Market access, listing conditions and demand are regional and volatile; fixed yields are not established. | Calculate net proceeds after material cost, listing fees and tax, not the displayed sale price. |
Dungeons: repeatable income with version-dependent limits
The Aion 2 Database, AION 2 Wiki and AION 2 Cyou guides all place dungeons among the recurring Kina/Kinah methods. A dungeon run can contain more than one value stream: direct currency, a reward chest, equipment or materials, and items that may be sold if they are unbound. Treat those streams separately in your notes.
Rank #2
How to evaluate a dungeon
- Confirm that your character meets the current entry and party requirements in the regional client.
- Record the full cycle time, including queueing, travel, loading and selling or dismantling rewards. Measuring only combat time inflates the apparent rate.
- Write down direct Kina/Kinah, bound currency, unbound currency and each tradable item as separate lines.
- Check the activity’s daily or weekly allowance before assuming the result can be repeated indefinitely.
- Repeat enough runs to observe ordinary rewards rather than using a single lucky drop as the expected return.
A dungeon is usually easiest to compare when you need predictable play and can use all of its available entries. It is not automatically the best route: a long queue, a restrictive cap or a market drop in the value of its items can change the result.
Quests and duties: reliable progression, uncertain repeat value
AION 2 Help’s AION 2 Kinah Guide (updated September 24, 2026), Aion2 Guide’s AION 2: earning Kinah in free-to-play, methods and pitfalls (October 4, 2026), and the other community references list quests, missions or duties as income sources. These activities can be efficient when they are already part of your leveling or progression plan, because the travel and combat would occur anyway.
The important question is whether the payment is a one-time completion reward, a repeatable duty reward, or a reward subject to a reset or cap. The reviewed material does not provide a single current payout schedule for every region. Check the duty panel and quest text in your client rather than carrying a figure from another server or an earlier patch.
When duties beat a dedicated farm
- You have uncompleted missions that grant currency while advancing the character.
- The duty has a short, known cycle and no queue or travel delay in your region.
- You need the associated experience, gear or unlock in addition to money.
Once the first-clear rewards are exhausted, compare the repeatable payment with a dungeon or market route instead of assuming the original value continues.
Open-world and Abyss activity: separate money, points and drops
Open-world play is a broad category covering enemies, events, gathering and drops. Guides identify it as an earning channel, but the value depends on density, competition, travel, drop tables and the price of materials. An item that sells well on one regional market may be nearly worthless on another.

Abyss activity needs an additional accounting line because it can reward Abyss Points. Those points serve a different purpose from Kina/Kinah. If the activity also drops unbound materials or equipment, record those as potential market income only after confirming that the items can be listed and that the market is available to your character.

Market, gathering and crafting: compare net proceeds
Market-based income can have the highest upside when demand is strong, but it is also the least stable route. The Aion 2 Database and AION 2 Wiki describe selling items and using alts or crafting as parts of a Kina/Kinah strategy. AION 2 Wiki specifically emphasizes that materials, listing costs and tax affect the result. Aion2 Guide also reports region-specific market and membership conditions that must be checked against official local rules.
Net-value formula
Net proceeds = sale price − material cost − listing fee − tax − any processing or travel cost.
For gathered materials, material cost can be the value of the time or opportunity you could have spent on another route. For crafted goods, include every consumed input, not only the rare component. If an item was obtained as a drop, record its acquisition cost as the time spent in the activity rather than assigning it a zero-cost value.
Rank #4
Market checklist
- Confirm that the item is unbound and eligible for the player market.
- Check several recent completed sales or the closest reliable price indicator available in your client; an unsold listing is not proof of value.
- Calculate fees and tax before crafting a large batch.
- Test a small quantity, then reassess demand, competition and price movement.
- Keep bound rewards for their intended use instead of counting them as saleable stock.
Never judge a crafting route by gross listing price alone. A high displayed price can still produce a loss after inputs and charges.
Bound and unbound currency change the answer
The Aion 2 Database and AION 2 Wiki describe bound and unbound forms of currency or rewards. Community explanations differ in detail, so confirm the exact behavior in your client before advising anyone to transfer a balance between characters. A bound balance may be spendable only by the earning character or account, while an unbound balance or item may be usable in trade; the current rules and terminology are not established uniformly by the reviewed sources.
For your own comparison, label every result as bound, unbound, account-bound or another exact client term. Do not merge those columns. A route with a larger bound reward may be worse for a player who needs market capital, while a smaller unbound reward may be more useful for trading.
A step-by-step method for finding your best route
Because no authoritative universal yield table is available, use a local measurement rather than a claimed hourly rate from a different region or patch.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors- Fix the test conditions. Write down region, server, patch date, character level, gear, membership state and party size.
- Define the target. Decide whether you need Kina/Kinah, Abyss Points, a bound purchase balance or a tradable item. Do not use “diamonds” as a target until the client identifies them.
- Choose two or more routes. For example, one dungeon, one repeatable duty and one market activity that your character can actually access.
- Measure complete sessions. Include queueing, travel, crafting, listing and selling time. Use the same clock method for every route.
- Separate reward types. Record direct currency, bound currency, Abyss Points and tradable items in different columns.
- Value sales conservatively. Use completed or recently observed prices, then subtract material costs, listing fees and tax.
- Check caps and resets. Note when a route stops paying, changes reward tier or reaches a daily or weekly limit.
- Repeat on another session. A single rare drop or unusually high market price is not a stable baseline.
- Choose by objective. Select the route with the best measured result for the resource you actually need, not the largest number in a different currency.
Decision guide by player situation
You need spendable Kina/Kinah now
Start with the activity that gives direct, usable currency and fits your available entries. Add unbound drops only after confirming their market eligibility and net sale value. A duty that you are already completing may be better than a separate farm if its travel and combat overlap with progression.

You need Abyss progression
Prioritize an Abyss activity that awards the required points, even if a dungeon produces more gold. Do not claim that point income is a superior Kina/Kinah method unless the client provides a verified exchange or the activity’s saleable rewards justify that conclusion.
You have market access and crafting materials
Test a small batch, calculate net proceeds and monitor demand. Market income is attractive only when the sale remains above all inputs and charges.
You are still leveling
Use quests and duties that advance the character while paying currency, then reassess repeatable routes after first-clear rewards and unlocks change.

Common mistakes and how to correct them
- Assuming the title’s term is an official currency. Correct it by checking the wallet, tooltip and item category.
- Combining Kina/Kinah and Abyss Points into one rate. Track them as separate currencies with separate uses.
- Using a foreign server’s price. Record region, server and date; market values are local and volatile.
- Quoting gross sale price. Subtract materials, listing fees and tax.
- Ignoring binding. Mark rewards as bound or unbound before counting them as transferable wealth.
- Turning one guide’s figure into a universal hourly yield. Community pages do not provide a controlled, official comparison across regions and patches.
- Forgetting caps. A route can be excellent for its first entries and poor after its allowance is consumed.
- Counting a rare drop as normal income. Repeat the test and separate ordinary rewards from exceptional ones.
What the current evidence does—and does not—show
The community material supports a practical shortlist of Kina/Kinah routes: dungeons, quests or duties, open-world activity, Abyss activity and market, gathering or crafting. It also supports treating bound and unbound rewards differently and calculating market income after costs.
It does not establish that Diamond is a currency, identify a definitive diamond-material drop source, or support a universal ranking such as “this route is always best.” It also does not provide an official, region-qualified yield table with matched character requirements, time measurements, caps and market prices. Any article or video giving a fixed diamond-per-hour or Kinah-per-hour promise should be checked against the exact client, patch and server before you rely on it.
A safe weekly routine while labels remain unclear
- At the start of the week, check the client’s currency, duty and market panels for current names, caps and access rules.
- Complete progression duties that provide a clear currency reward and record whether the reward is repeatable.
- Use available dungeon entries, logging direct currency and tradable drops separately.
- Run open-world or Abyss content only with a defined target: Kina/Kinah, Abyss Points or a specific saleable material.
- Review the market before crafting or listing. Calculate net value with current inputs, fees and tax.
- At week’s end, compare your own measured results and adjust the next week’s mix. Keep the region, patch and date attached to the notes.
This approach remains valid when a patch changes a reward, a cap or a market price, whereas a copied universal ranking quickly becomes stale.
