Those exact global hours have not been confirmed in an official global notice, so treat them as the best current operating reference rather than an NCSOFT announcement. Convert from UTC for the date you are playing: daylight-saving changes can move the local clock by one hour, and a Wednesday UTC reset can appear on Tuesday evening in North and South American time zones.
The reset schedule at a glance
| Reset | Global UTC reference | What is established |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | 07:00 UTC each day | Reported by current community-maintained schedule references; the exact hour was not found in an official global notice. |
| Weekly | 07:00 UTC every Wednesday | The Wednesday pattern is supported by the official Korean Aion 2 guidebook for weekly reward limits. Community references supply the 07:00 UTC hour for the global service. |
The official guidebook page was updated on September 23, 2026, and warns that guide details can differ from the live game. It confirms that weekly reward limits reset on Wednesday in its own service context, but it does not establish a universal global-service hour. For a particular dungeon, reward track, event, shop or mission, the countdown shown in your client is more specific than the general schedule.

What “daily” and “weekly” mean in practice
Daily boundary
A daily boundary is the server’s point at which a daily counter becomes available again. Under the current global reference, that boundary is 07:00 UTC. The reset is tied to the service clock, not to midnight on your phone or computer. If you complete a daily task shortly before 07:00 UTC, it belongs to the old service day; completing it just after the boundary uses the new one.
Weekly boundary
The reported global weekly boundary is Wednesday at 07:00 UTC. “Wednesday” refers to the UTC calendar date. In a western time zone, the same instant can still be Tuesday locally. The official guide’s statement that weekly reward limits reset every Wednesday supports the weekday pattern, while community references are the source for the global hour.

How to convert 07:00 UTC to your local time
Start with 07:00 UTC and apply the offset that is actually in force on the date of the reset. Add positive offsets and subtract negative offsets. If the result passes midnight, change the local calendar date as well as the clock time.
| Zone or offset | Local time when the global reset is 07:00 UTC | Date effect |
|---|---|---|
| UTC | 07:00 | Same date |
| CEST (UTC+2) | 09:00 | Same date |
| EDT (UTC−4) | 03:00 | Same date |
| UTC−7 | 00:00 | Same date, exactly midnight |
| UTC−8 | 23:00 | Previous local date |
| UTC+1 | 08:00 | Same date |
| UTC+9 | 16:00 | Same date, if that UTC anchor applies |
| UTC+8 | 15:00 | Same date, if that UTC anchor applies |
The CEST and EDT examples are valid only while those daylight-saving offsets are in effect. When Europe returns to CET (UTC+1), a 07:00 UTC reset is 08:00 local instead of 09:00. When the eastern United States returns to EST (UTC−5), it is 02:00 local instead of 03:00. The UTC instant has not moved; the local offset has.
A reliable conversion procedure
- Identify the service you selected on the title screen or server list. Do not assume that a global, Korean or Taiwan service uses the same clock.
- Write down the reported anchor as 07:00 UTC, and for the weekly reset also write Wednesday in UTC.
- Check the civil-time offset for the date in question. Use the daylight or standard offset that applies that day, not a permanently memorized city difference.
- Add or subtract the offset and adjust the local date if the result crosses midnight.
- Open the relevant activity or reward screen and compare your calculation with its reset countdown. Use that countdown as the operational answer if it differs.
Why your reset can appear an hour early or late
Daylight-saving time changed
The most common one-hour discrepancy is a seasonal clock change. A player who remembers “09:00” from the European summer may see the same UTC reset at 08:00 after the switch to UTC+1. An eastern US player may remember 03:00 during EDT and see 02:00 during EST. Recalculate from UTC whenever the region changes its offset.
The weekly reset is Tuesday locally
At UTC−8, 07:00 UTC is 23:00 on Tuesday. At UTC−7, it is midnight at the Tuesday-to-Wednesday boundary. The service still considers the reset Wednesday because its anchor date is Wednesday in UTC. This is why a local calendar can make a correctly timed weekly reset look like it happened on the “wrong” day.
You are viewing a different service region
Global, Korean and Taiwan services have distinct schedules. A time observed on one service should not be copied to another. A timer reference lists Korea at UTC+9 and Taiwan at UTC+8 and notes that the services run on different local clocks, but that information does not prove that either regional service uses the global 07:00 UTC boundary.
The counter has its own rule
The general daily or weekly boundary is not a guarantee that every counter changes at that instant. The official guide discusses weekly-limited reward counts, but the retrieved material does not enumerate every activity, shop, event or instance timer. If one item remains locked after the general reset, check that item’s own countdown instead of assuming your account is broken.
Global, Korean and Taiwan services are not interchangeable
| Service | Clock information currently available | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Global | Community references report 07:00 UTC daily and Wednesday 07:00 UTC weekly. | Use UTC conversion for planning, then verify the in-game countdown. |
| Korea | The timer reference identifies UTC+9 as the service’s local offset; an equivalent reset anchor was not established here. | Do not import the global hour. Select the Korean service and read its timer. |
| Taiwan | The timer reference identifies UTC+8 as the service’s local offset; an equivalent reset anchor was not established here. | Do not import the global hour. Select the Taiwan service and read its timer. |
The offset values in the regional rows describe the clocks, not a promise that a reset occurs at 15:00 or 16:00 local time. Those local conversions would be valid only if the service used the same 07:00 UTC anchor, which has not been established for the regional schedules.

Players in Central Europe
During CEST (UTC+2), the reported global weekly reset lands at 09:00 on Wednesday. During CET (UTC+1), it lands at 08:00. If you schedule a weekly activity before work or school, use the date-specific offset rather than a calendar reminder that permanently says 09:00.
Players in the US Eastern time zone
During EDT (UTC−4), the reset is 03:00 Wednesday. During EST (UTC−5), it is 02:00 Wednesday. A reminder set for 03:00 all year will be one hour late during standard time.
Players farther west
At UTC−7, the reset occurs at midnight as Wednesday begins. At UTC−8, it occurs at 23:00 Tuesday. The latter is still the Wednesday UTC reset, so a weekly checklist should label it according to the local date you will see while playing, while noting the UTC date if you coordinate with players elsewhere.
Coordinating a group
When announcing a run, publish the UTC anchor and a local conversion together—for example, “Wednesday 07:00 UTC, 09:00 CEST while summer time is active.” This avoids a one-hour error when someone’s region changes daylight-saving status and prevents western players from mistaking Tuesday evening for a separate weekly reset.

Building a reminder that does not drift
A fixed local alarm is safe only in regions that do not change their UTC offset. Elsewhere, save the event as a UTC-based recurring reminder or update the local time when daylight-saving status changes. Include both the UTC label and the local label in guild calendars, spreadsheets and group messages. For example, “Wednesday 07:00 UTC / 09:00 CEST” tells players which part is the stable anchor and which part depends on the season.
For a weekly task, record the last completion time and the next countdown rather than relying only on the weekday name. This is especially useful for players near the International Date Line or for groups spread across Europe, North America and Asia, where the same reset can have different local dates. Keep the service name beside the reminder, since a Korea or Taiwan schedule should not be inferred from a global one.
What to do when a counter does not reset
- Confirm that the clock you used was UTC and that the date’s daylight-saving offset was correct.
- Check the selected service region; global observations do not automatically apply to Korea or Taiwan.
- Open the affected activity, reward or shop panel and read its individual countdown.
- Check whether the item is a weekly reward limit rather than a daily allowance, or vice versa.
- Allow for the possibility that the guide and the live game differ; the official guidebook explicitly carries that warning.
- If the countdown and the general schedule disagree, follow the countdown for that activity and record the displayed time before reporting a bug.
Which source should you trust?
Use the community-reported 07:00 UTC schedule as a practical global planning anchor, but label it as community information because an official global reset-time notice was not located. Use the official Korean guidebook to confirm the Wednesday pattern for weekly reward limits, while remembering its September 23, 2026 update and its warning that live-game details can change. For the decision that matters at the moment you are playing—whether a particular reward, mission or instance is available—the in-game countdown is the final check.

What time is the Aion 2 weekly reset?
The global weekly reset is currently reported as Wednesday at 07:00 UTC. The official Korean guidebook confirms Wednesday as the weekly reward-limit reset day, but not a universal global hour.
What time zone does Aion 2 use?
The global schedule is expressed most reliably as UTC. Korea and Taiwan services use distinct regional clocks, so select the correct service and do not transfer a global conversion automatically.
Why is my reset an hour off?
Daylight-saving time is usually responsible. A 07:00 UTC reset appears at 09:00 in CEST but 08:00 in CET, and at 03:00 in EDT but 02:00 in EST.
Can the weekly reset happen on Tuesday?
Yes, locally. At UTC−8, Wednesday 07:00 UTC is 23:00 Tuesday, and at UTC−7 it is midnight at the local Tuesday-to-Wednesday boundary. The service date remains Wednesday in UTC.
Why did one reward or mission not reset?
Not every activity is proven to share the general boundary. Check that activity’s own countdown, confirm whether it is daily or weekly, and remember that the official guide warns live details can differ.
The Bottom Line
Plan around 07:00 UTC daily and Wednesday 07:00 UTC weekly for the global service, treating those hours as community-reported. Convert from UTC using the offset in force on the actual date, account for Tuesday-evening displays in western zones, keep Korea and Taiwan schedules separate, and use the individual in-game countdown as the final authority.
