To reach the opposing faction’s region in Aion 2, use a currently active Spacetime Rift on your own side: Asmodians travel from Altgard to Elyos Verteron, while Elyos travel from Verteron to Altgard. The crossing is temporary, and the game’s live announcement and map marker—not a static location guide—show which entrance is open.

How to cross through a Spacetime Rift
- Check the level requirement. October 2026 guides report that Spacetime Rift access requires level 45. This may change with patches, so check the current game client if you are below that level or the rift does not appear.
- Watch for the opening announcement. The guides say the server announces when a rift opens. When you see the notice, open the map and locate the active rift marker; inspect its details to confirm the entrance currently available.
- Reach that entrance quickly. Space4Games reported that the portal entrance stays open for only a few minutes. Teleport to a nearby Kibelisk on your own side if convenient, then run or fly to the marker. The map’s “Travel” function may instead send you along automatic pathing, so do not assume it will teleport you to the portal.
- Interact with the active rift. Enter through the marked portal while it is open. A reference map or a remembered location is not confirmation that a rift is active there now.
- Plan what to do after crossing. Space4Games reported a one-hour stay in the enemy region, extendable with Duration Tickets. The same guide says fast travel is unavailable there; plan to walk, fly, or ride between objectives and group nearby tasks together.
When do rifts open?
Published schedules differ in their framing, and opening times may depend on the server or game version. Space4Games’ October 4, 2026 guide lists a three-hour cycle at 00:00, 03:00, 06:00, 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, and 21:00 UTC. Sportskeeda’s October 5 guide also describes openings every three hours but uses a different starting-time framing. Treat those as guide-reported schedules, not a universal local-time promise: watch the in-game announcement and map at the expected opportunity.
There are two separate time windows to keep in mind: the entrance reportedly closes after a few minutes, while the reported visit to the other region lasts one hour. The first is the time to enter; the second is the time available after you cross.

Can you use coordinates from a portal map?
Use static maps only as terrain references. AION2RIFT lists nine Verteron points and ten Altgard points based on Taiwan map material, but says they are not live active portals or confirmed Global routes; some area labels are inferred, and at least one Altgard point is flagged as potentially inaccurate. At the opening, follow the active marker in your own client rather than treating any listed coordinate as the current entrance.
What to expect in enemy territory
Space4Games reports that rival Kibelisks are guarded and warns of PvP and risks of being sent home after death or certain interactions. These are guide-reported mechanics that may change, so check the current client and be cautious around enemy facilities. Since the guide also reports no fast travel in the rival region, allow time to travel between objectives without relying on a Kibelisk network.

Is there another route through Reshanta?
An October 7, 2026 guide claims an Item Level 1000 Abyss Reshanta route, but the route-focused guides do not corroborate it as an alternative for the specific Altgard–Verteron crossing, and no official confirmation is established here.
