Spoiler warning: WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 took place on November 29, 2025, and its official results are discussed below.
Because the event is already over, this is a retrospective AI exercise—not a claim that a named chatbot issued a preserved prediction before the show. WWE held the event at Petco Park in San Diego, California, with four matches. The hypothetical forecast below favors the most defensible pre-event booking choices, then compares them with WWE’s official results.

What Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 was
WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 took place at Petco Park on November 29, 2025. The main card contained two WarGames matches and two championship bouts rather than traditional five-on-five Survivor Series elimination matches. WWE’s event page is available at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025.

What “AI predicts” means here
No dated, preserved output from a specifically named AI model is established for this event. Therefore, claims such as “ChatGPT predicted Dominik Mysterio” would be misleading. This article presents a clearly labeled hypothetical reconstruction: what a model might have selected using only the announced card and publicly available storyline information before November 29, 2025.
Reproducible prediction conditions
- Name the model and version.
- Record the prompt date and freeze information available before November 29, 2025.
- State whether browsing was enabled and whether the model saw only the final card or later storyline developments.
- Ask for the most likely booking outcome, not the most entertaining twist.
- Publish the raw picks before comparing them with WWE’s results.
A suitable prompt would be: “Using only information publicly available before November 29, 2025, predict the winner of each announced Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 match. Separate winner, title-change prediction and likely interference. Explain uncertainty and do not use hindsight.” Four matches are too small a sample for a statistical test.
The four-match forecast versus WWE’s results
| Match | Hypothetical AI pick | Official result | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Men’s WarGames | Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso | Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed won | Missed the winner and the decisive angle |
| Women’s WarGames | Rhea Ripley, AJ Lee, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and IYO SKY | Ripley’s team won | Correct winner |
| Women’s World Championship | Stephanie Vaquer retained | Vaquer retained against Nikki Bella | Correct title outcome |
| Intercontinental Championship | John Cena retained | Dominik Mysterio defeated Cena and won the title | Missed the title change |

Men’s WarGames: the prediction most exposed to a surprise
Teams and hypothetical pick
Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Roman Reigns, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso faced Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. WWE’s announced participants are listed in its men’s WarGames preview.
A conservative model could favor Rhodes and Punk’s team because it combined major storyline figures and could protect several high-profile wrestlers in defeat. A model looking for a disruptive angle might instead choose Lesnar’s side, whose powerhouse identity made a clean victory credible.
What actually happened
Lesnar’s team won after a mysterious assailant attacked CM Punk. WWE confirms the interference and result in its official event recap. The attacker should not be identified without a reliable source establishing that identity.

This is exactly where generic prediction fails: identifying a winner is easier than forecasting an unannounced attacker, betrayal or protected finish.

Women’s WarGames: storyline momentum mattered
Teams and hypothetical pick
Rhea Ripley, AJ Lee, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and IYO SKY faced Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax and Lash Legend. The hypothetical forecast selected Ripley’s team because it offered several obvious narrative payoffs and concentrated star power.
Official result
Ripley’s team won. WWE’s detailed results recap says Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka to give her team the WarGames advantage and highlights AJ Lee’s cage entrance and Ripley’s role. Those details explain the match’s presentation, but they do not prove an AI could have foreseen the finish.
Women’s World Championship: the conservative call was right
Stephanie Vaquer vs. Nikki Bella
The hypothetical pick was Stephanie Vaquer to retain the Women’s World Championship. Retention is the safer forecast when a champion is being established; Nikki Bella winning would have been a major nostalgia-driven headline.
Vaquer retained, according to WWE’s official full results. The model got the title outcome right, but that does not make the prediction certain or reveal WWE’s private creative process.

Intercontinental Championship: the headline upset
John Cena vs. Dominik Mysterio
The hypothetical forecast selected John Cena to retain because he entered as champion and his status made a defense plausible. A model emphasizing a new-champion angle could reasonably have chosen Dominik instead.
Official result and interference
Dominik Mysterio defeated Cena to win the Intercontinental Championship. WWE’s recap says Liv Morgan returned, initially appeared to help Mysterio and then turned on Cena, enabling the victory. The official result is recorded at WWE’s full results page, while the angle appears in the event recap.
That result advanced the Mysterio–Morgan story and produced a stronger title-change headline than a routine Cena defense. The exact return and interference sequence would be difficult to predict without explicit pre-event evidence.

- Match winners: 2 of 4 in this hypothetical forecast.
- Title outcomes: 1 of 2; Vaquer’s retention was correct, Cena’s defense was not.
- Major interference: The forecast did not identify the CM Punk attack or Liv Morgan’s return.
- Best pick: Vaquer retaining, because champion retention was the least disruptive booking choice.
- Worst miss: The Intercontinental Championship, where WWE chose a new champion and a surprise angle.
This score cannot establish a general success rate. It is an illustrative comparison across only four matches.

Why AI wrestling predictions fail
Public storylines are not private creative plans
An AI can organize rivalries, title histories and momentum, but it cannot reliably access WWE’s internal booking decisions.
Current information matters
A model without browsing may miss the final card, late returns, injuries, suspensions or last-minute creative changes. Stale training data can also produce invented matches, wrestlers or championships.
Confidence can be cosmetic
Fluent language is not evidence. A prediction should explain uncertainty rather than attach unsupported percentages or present subjective confidence as betting odds.
Winner and finish are different tests
Calling Dominik the winner would still not mean predicting Liv Morgan’s return. A serious comparison scores winner, title status, interference, surprise return and match-ending sequence separately.
Is AI useful for WWE predictions?
Yes, as an analytical assistant: it can structure a card, compare storyline factors and generate competing scenarios. It is poor at discovering private creative plans, surprise returns and deliberately protected twists. The honest label is “hypothetical AI forecast” unless a dated, unedited pre-event output is preserved.
The Bottom Line
For Survivor Series: WarGames 2025, a transparent hypothetical forecast could reasonably get two of four winners right, but it would still miss the most WWE-specific variables: surprise interference, returns and a sudden title change. AI can explain plausible booking; it is not an insider or a reliable oracle.
