Rockstar Store prices as a reference point
The Rockstar Store catalog lists the publisher’s own US prices. These are useful for comparing against a platform store, but they are not the lowest price available anywhere. The catalog entries below were shown as listed prices, not as markdowns.

The PlayStation Store listing for GTA V
The PlayStation Store page for Grand Theft Auto V identifies a digital PS4 and PS5 version and showed $39.99 in the capture. The same page displayed a 50% offer on GTA Online standalone content that ended September 24, 2026. That offer has expired and should not be treated as available.

How to check a Rockstar deal before you buy
- Open the game’s page on the store where you intend to buy, and confirm the region setting shown on that store. Prices for the same title can differ by country.
- Read the full edition name. “Grand Theft Auto V,” “Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced,” and the PS4/PS5 digital listing are not interchangeable, and neither are the two Trilogy bundles.
- Match the platform before comparing. A console price and a PC price should be labeled as such in any comparison, because they are sold through different stores with different terms.
- Treat the struck-through figure as the store’s own former list price. It shows how much the store is reducing the price, not what the game typically sells for elsewhere.
- Look for a sale end date. If the store shows none, do not assume the price will hold.
- Compare the platform store price against the Rockstar Store listing for the same edition, and then against any other authorized seller you plan to use.
GTA+ members get a narrower 20% discount
Rockstar Support’s article on the GTA+ membership discount (updated December 2, 2025) describes a discount with tight limits:

- It applies only while the game is included in that catalog.
- It works only on the platform where the membership was purchased.
- It cannot be combined with other discounts.
What the GTA VI launch details do and do not show
Take-Two Interactive’s June 24, 2026 announcement set the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI for November 19, 2026, with a $79.99 standard edition and a $99.99 Ultimate Edition. Rockstar Support’s GTA VI pre-order details, updated June 26, 2026, names the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Rockstar Store as pre-order channels. It notes that select retailers and third-party storefronts may also offer the game, depending on country. The physical version contains a download code rather than a disc.

None of the discounts above apply to GTA VI, and nothing in the captured listings establishes a markdown on it. Take-Two also reported more than 470 million units sold-in across the Grand Theft Auto series worldwide in 2026. That figure covers the whole series, not any single game, including GTA V.
