The official listing names a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Zotac GeForce RTX 5080, and currently prices the system at AU$19,995. That price buys an elaborate display build as well as high-end PC components; independent gaming benchmarks for this exact desktop are not available in the cited sources.
What is the Cherry Bloom PC?
CHERRY BLOOM is a showcase desktop created by Australian PC builder AFTERSHOCK in partnership with ZOTAC. The centerpiece is a handcrafted cherry tree set inside the PC, with 70 hand-painted blossoms. AFTERSHOCK calls it the “world-first blooming Gaming PC”; that is the company’s claim, not an independently verified distinction.
The official showcase describes a 270° seamless glass view around the build. Its separate showcase page calls the platform NOVACORE, while the detailed sales listing identifies the case as APNX V2 White. Those are the names used by the respective AFTERSHOCK pages.
How does the Cherry Bloom gaming PC bloom?
AFTERSHOCK says each blossom is made from a temperature-reactive titanium alloy. As the computer warms, the petals lift; as it cools, they return to rest. The company describes the movement as a material response to system temperature, with “no motors, no lighting tricks.” These are manufacturer descriptions of the mechanism, not independently verified engineering findings.

Those thresholds come from its October 2, 2026 feature; AFTERSHOCK’s showcase text does not specify them. Geek Culture also describes a miniature courtyard with stone and moss details, pink open-loop cooling, and five fans.

What does the price say about its gaming performance?
The listed Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5080 make this a high-end component configuration, but the price alone does not establish how the complete system performs in games. The sales page describes it as suitable for “serious 4K gaming,” which is promotional wording. No independent benchmark results for this exact desktop are established in the sources cited here, so there are no verified frame rates or direct performance comparisons to report.
For a buyer choosing between this showcase build and a conventional high-end prebuilt, the practical comparison is not just CPU and GPU: weigh the total price, memory and storage, cooling and case design, warranty and support, and whether the temperature-reactive diorama is worth paying for. The blossom mechanism is a distinctive design feature, not evidence of faster gaming.
