Who is Joker in AFK Arena?
Joker is AFK Arena’s crossover version of Persona 5’s Joker, also known as the Phantom Thief. BlueStacks’ January 11, 2021 guide classifies him as a Dimensional hero and an Agility-type Ranger, and credits Xander Mobus as his voice actor in the game. The guide’s central idea is that Joker can combine damage with control-dependent attacks.

What do Joker’s abilities do?
The following descriptions and percentages are those reported by the 2021 guide. They are not confirmed current-client values; later patch notes document changes or fixes to some of Joker’s mechanics, but do not provide a complete current skill specification.

Joker’s ultimate summons Arsène to deal area damage. The guide lists the damage as 260% to all enemies.

Adverse Reaction
At battle start, Joker selects the opposing enemy as his Combat Target. If that enemy is not Dimensional, Joker temporarily changes faction to gain a factional damage bonus against the target, while also becoming subject to other factions’ bonus effects. The guide says advantaged hits knock the target down for two seconds and weaken it, adding 30% damage over five seconds. It also describes the knockdown and weakening effects as applicable to the target once every seven seconds. If the target is defeated, Joker selects the enemy with the highest Combat Rating.
Concentrated Fire
After four normal attacks, Joker fires his gun at the Combat Target. The 2021 guide lists this attack at 180% damage.

All-Out Attack
When three or more enemies—or all enemies—are controlled, Joker attacks all enemies. The guide lists 300% damage and says the ability requires surviving allies, can trigger once every seven seconds, and can occur no more than three times per battle.

Tips for using Joker
The 2021 BlueStacks guide frames Joker as a hero to build around control: crowd-control effects can help meet All-Out Attack’s trigger condition, while Adverse Reaction may help him pressure a selected target. Treat these as historical suggestions, not current team-building rankings.

Consider control-heavy allies
The guide names Khazard, Ferael, and Izold as possible allies. It points to Ferael’s Terrorize, which it says can stun three enemies at maximum level, and to Izold’s Noxious Blast. These are examples from the original guide; whether they are effective choices now depends on current balance, investment, and the battle you are facing.
Test the target interaction carefully
The guide suggests testing Joker against enemy teams built around a single faction, because Adverse Reaction may grant a factional advantage against his selected target. Its description also ties that interaction to a knockdown and temporary damage increase. The exact behavior should be checked in the current game rather than assumed from the 2021 description.

How to get AFK Arena’s Joker
BlueStacks’ January 2021 guide listed two routes: buying Joker through Merchants → Heroic Ship, or using the Dimensionals exchange. The listed exchange cost for one copy was 4,000 Hero Coins, Guild Coins, or Labyrinth Tokens, or 13,333 Gladiator Coins. These are historical figures only. The available patch-note references do not confirm whether those routes, currencies, or costs remain available; check the live in-game interface before planning an exchange.
What later patch notes say
AFK.GUIDE, an unaffiliated AFK Arena fansite, records several later Joker-related fixes. The notes show that the 2021 description should not be treated as the final word on implementation, but they do not establish Joker’s present balance or meta standing.
- Version 1.55 treated knocked-down enemies as controlled for All-Out Attack trigger checks.
- Version 1.124 addressed a special-effects issue with All-Out Attack in extreme situations and stated that actual battle effects were unaffected.
- Version 1.138 fixed an All-Out Attack anomaly in extreme situations.
These entries document specific implementation fixes; they are not a current skill sheet, acquisition guide, or tier assessment.
