The BlueStacks guide places him in an Eironn-centered five-pull team, but that is a suggested composition—not a verified current-patch ranking. His precise value in a roster depends on balance and team context.
What does Granit do in AFK Arena?
BlueStacks identifies Granit, nicknamed “Desert’s Stone,” as a Mauler Strength tank. AFK.guide also lists him as a Mauler, Strength-type tank. In practice, his documented abilities make him a front-line control and protection hero: he can interrupt enemies, pull and launch them, prevent marked enemies from acting or recovering Energy, and provide shields.

His abilities reward attention to timing. Sand Vortex sets up petrification, while Earth Tremors disrupts and repositions nearby foes. His defensive skills add personal durability and a shield for a wounded teammate.

Sand Vortex
Sand Vortex deals area damage and interrupts enemy casting. It applies a Petrification mark; when an already-marked enemy is hit, the mark is removed and that enemy is petrified. A petrified target cannot act or recover Energy for five seconds. The listed level improvements increase damage received by petrified enemies and extend the petrification duration to six seconds. These are the ability details reported by the BlueStacks Granit guide and corroborated by AFK.guide’s Granit entry.

Earth Tremors
Granit pulls nearby enemies toward him, interrupts their casting, and deals damage. He then smashes the ground, damaging enemies in front of him and launching them. Listed upgrades improve the smash’s damage and grant Energy recovery for each enemy hero struck.
Stone Skin
Stone Skin gives Granit a shield based on his Attack Rating for six seconds. He then transfers half of the shield’s value to the allied hero with the lowest current health and knocks back nearby enemies. Its listed upgrades improve the shield value and the duration of the ally’s shield.

Earthen Resilience
At the start of battle, Granit gains a shield equal to a portion of his maximum health, and the shield resets periodically. The BlueStacks guide describes the starting shield as mitigating damage equal to 15% of his maximum health; that figure is a stated game mechanic, not a performance statistic. Later listed improvements increase the shield and reduce damage Granit takes while it is active.
Which team does the BlueStacks guide recommend?
BlueStacks presents Granit as a control and protection choice for an Eironn-centered five-pull lineup. In that setup, Skriath helps group enemies, while Lucretia is included as a damage and synergy option. Granit’s pulls, interrupts, launches, and petrification can support the team’s setup by disrupting opponents as they are gathered.

This is the BlueStacks guide’s team suggestion, not evidence that the lineup is currently the best or that Granit has a particular competitive rank. The guide also describes him as sluggish and says his ultimate can be tricky to use. That caveat matters in practice: his control and protection may help a lineup establish its setup, but the ultimate’s timing can limit how quickly that control arrives.
What do Desert’s Core and furniture add?
Granit’s Signature Item is Desert’s Core. AFK.guide lists Energy-recovery effects at the +10 and +20 investment thresholds, and says the +30 effect marks all enemies with Petrification at the start of battle. It also lists an effect that triggers an allied Sand Vortex when Granit dies. These effects add more control and team utility to his existing kit.

His furniture adds a stronger normal attack when Earthen Resilience resets. At 9/9, the listed effect temporarily steals Accuracy and Haste from enemies Granit hits. BlueStacks speaks favorably about +30 and 9/9, but those recommendations are guide opinion, not a universal resource-priority rule. Decide whether to invest based on your roster, available resources, and the role you need Granit to fill; the cited sources do not establish a current-patch investment ranking.

- Control timing: His kit has interrupts, a pull, a launch, and conditional petrification. Consider whether those effects fit the timing your team needs.
- Team protection: He has both a periodic health-based shield and a separate shield that partly transfers to the most injured ally.
- Team setup: The BlueStacks example pairs him with Eironn and Skriath for a five-pull setup, with Lucretia as a damage and synergy option.
- Investment: Desert’s Core and furniture add control and stat effects at specified thresholds, but the available sources do not prove those thresholds are mandatory for every account.
The cited guides document Granit’s mechanics and a suggested team, but do not provide current usage data or a head-to-head ranking against other tanks. Treat the skill descriptions as the clearest basis for understanding his role, and treat composition strength and investment priority as patch-sensitive.
