Hypogeans are a faction in AFK Arena, but an older BlueStacks guide is not a reliable current roster or summoning guide. AFK Global’s April 2026 Update 1.192 notes added Hybris, an Awakened Hypogean, after that guide’s six-hero roster was published. Current summon rates, banners, and the best Hypogeans to invest in are not established by the available sources, so check those details in the live game rather than relying on old rankings.
What changed since the older Hypogeans guide?
The BlueStacks guide introduces six heroes—Ezizh, Mezoth, Mehira, Zolrath, Khazard, and Lucretia—and discusses their abilities and investment value. It should be read as a historical snapshot, not as a complete current roster or up-to-date priority list. AFK Global’s Update 1.192 notes, dated April 20, 2026, identify Hybris – Mirror of Kings as a newly added Awakened Hypogean; the notes say the patch released April 21, 2026.
Those notes also describe launch events and rewards from April 2026. Their dates have passed, so they should not be treated as active summon discounts or offers. For current heroes, skills, banner availability, and rates, consult the live game: this source set does not verify present-day details.
What Hypogean faction bonuses are documented?
AFK Global’s reproduction of the March 29, 2019 Update 1.15 notes gives this historical faction-bonus ladder. These figures document the 2019 rules, not necessarily the current balance; verify the bonus descriptions in-game before building a formation around them.

The historical patch-note text says Hypogean heroes “will not activate any other faction’s factional bonuses” and grants allied heroes effects based on the number of Hypogeans in the formation. The source is AFK Global’s reproduction of the Update 1.15 notes, attributed to the AFK Global Team and dated March 29, 2019.
What can you safely conclude about gacha and hero priorities?
Not enough to make a current rate claim or rank Hypogeans for investment. The available beginner guide discusses Tavern summoning, faction scrolls, Hero Choice Pack, and Stargazing, but it is community guidance rather than an authoritative current rate table. It does not establish which banners are currently open, their probabilities, or which heroes are the best account-specific investments.
- Check the active summon screen and its in-game rate or rules details before spending resources.
- Treat older hero rankings and skill summaries as dated advice until matched against current in-game descriptions and needs.
