Winter’s Call: a temporary defensive state
AFK Global describes Winter’s Call as making Alna immune to damage and control effects for a limited time while reducing nearby enemies’ Dodge. Freezing Pierce and Frozen Fury
AFK Global describes Freezing Pierce as dealing damage based partly on the target’s maximum health, with a cap tied to Alna’s Attack Rating. Frozen Fury deals area damage and adds Haste reduction. Signature item
The database describes the signature item as improving Alna’s health recovery. At +30, it says the first time she falls below half health, Winter’s Call triggers. That effect can make her defensive state less dependent on manually timing the ability, but it is an investment-linked benefit, not part of the baseline skill description.
Furniture and Army of Two
The database associates Army of Two with a frontline ally benefit and says the 9/9 furniture bonus extends Winter’s Call’s effects to Alna’s other frontline ally. How to think about positioning and team fit
Alna’s described defensive effects are tied to her and, with the relevant furniture bonus, her other frontline ally. Her placement therefore matters. When assessing a formation, consider whether Alna is on the frontline, whether the adjacent frontline partner can use the shared protection, and whether the team can tolerate her passive’s Haste reduction.
