The manual gives approximate conversions from traditional cooking times to Low. They are starting points, not guarantees: cooking time can depend on the recipe and ingredients.

For the Australian-market appliance described in the manual, the electrical specifications are 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz and 120 W, and the manual says the appliance must be earthed. These details should not be assumed to apply to another regional version.

Its method assigns 30% of the rating to low-setting cooking performance, 30% to high-setting performance and 40% to ease of use.
