The available deal coverage identifies this as a Walmart Deal Days offer, not a Prime Day promotion. Prices and stock can change, so check the live listing before buying.
What the $1,699 listing includes
The Walmart deal is for the specific Acer Nitro 85 N85-100-UW37, rather than any desktop simply labeled Nitro 85. Walmart’s listing and the October 6 deal page identify this configuration:
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X
- Graphics: Radeon RX 9070 XT with 16GB of GDDR6 memory
- System memory: 16GB DDR5
- Storage: 1TB SSD
The listing’s detailed description also mentions Wi-Fi 7, 2.5GbE networking and liquid cooling. Those details come from retailer listing copy, not an independent inspection of the UW37. Why the Prime Day label needs a correction
The available coverage describes the offer as part of Walmart’s annual Deal Days promotion; it does not establish that the price is tied to Amazon Prime Day. Yahoo Tech’s Walmart Deal Days roundup reports the same $1,699 price, while the dated deal page records the offer on October 6, 2026. The event name matters because it identifies where the deal is listed; it does not guarantee the price will remain available.

What the RX 9070 XT suggests about 4K gaming
The RX 9070 XT is a high-end graphics card with 16GB of GDDR6 memory. AMD lists 304W total board power and recommends a 750W power supply for a system using the card. AMD has also published native 4K Ultra gaming comparisons for the RX 9070 family, but that manufacturer material is not an independent test of this Acer desktop.

No independent game-by-game benchmarks for the exact N85-100-UW37 are established in the available sources. That means there is no reliable basis here for a specific frame-rate promise or a claim that every current game will run at 4K with maximum settings. Results depend on the game, graphics settings and workload. AMD’s March 2025 RX 9000 specifications list the card’s memory, power and recommended supply; AMD’s RX 9070 series guide contains its manufacturer 4K comparisons.

Acer’s official specifications cited here are for the related N85-100-UR37, not the Walmart deal’s UW37. The UR37 page specifies a single 16GB DDR5 module, support for up to 128GB, 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage, an 850W 80 Plus Gold power supply, Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5GbE. Those specifications should not be assumed to apply to the UW37 simply because the model names are similar. Who should consider this deal
The listed combination pairs a Ryzen 9 9900X with an RX 9070 XT, but the configuration also includes 16GB of system memory. Whether that capacity suits you depends on the games and other applications you run; the available evidence does not establish it as a performance bottleneck. Before ordering, compare the exact UW37 configuration and current price with other complete desktops, and weigh the confirmed specifications against your workload rather than inferring performance from the GPU name alone. AMD announced the RX 9070 XT with a $599 U.S. suggested launch price in 2025; that is historical launch pricing for the graphics card, not a current street price or the price of this complete PC.
