How to plan an S-rank attempt
- Read the mission briefing. Identify whether the main work is air combat, ground support, a naval strike or a combination, and note the objective and any time pressure. The official overview describes these mission types and emphasizes preparation around the briefing.
- Choose a suitable aircraft and special weapon. Match your loadout to the target types and objective rather than relying on one aircraft for every mission. Are campaign S ranks the same as online ranks?
No basis for that assumption is established. Bandai Namco discusses online mission-clear ranks and rewards in the multiplayer context; that does not define campaign S-rank criteria.
