Which aircraft are currently listed for Ace Combat 8?
The following 29 models appear on Bandai Namco’s official aircraft roster. This is the roster currently displayed by the publisher, not a final total: its page says more aircraft are forthcoming. Roles below follow the publisher’s classifications.

How do you unlock aircraft?
Earn MRP through missions
Bandai Namco’s official walkthrough says additional fighter jets can be unlocked using MRP, an in-game currency earned in missions. It does not give aircraft-specific MRP costs or say which mission, campaign point, or tree branch unlocks a particular standard-roster aircraft. The public guidance therefore confirms the general route, not a complete unlock chart.

Choose aircraft and loadouts for the objective
The walkthrough advises matching aircraft to the mission objective and your playstyle; different missions call for different loadouts. Use the roster’s fighter, attacker, multirole, and electronic labels as a starting point, then consider the available weapons and loadout options for the mission. The publisher’s roster page provides aircraft descriptions, but it does not establish individual unlock conditions.

How do you get the F-14A and Morgan–PIXY?
F-14A: preorder bonus
Bandai Namco lists the F-14A as a playable aircraft preorder bonus on its official game page. Eligibility depends on the edition and region, and a preorder offer may no longer be available. Check the current listing for your platform and region before buying on the assumption that it is included.
ADFX-02 Morgan–PIXY: Season 1 Premium Ace Pass
The publisher identifies Morgan–PIXY as a Season 1 exclusive aircraft in the Premium Ace Pass. Its FAQ says redeeming that pass unlocks the aircraft immediately for Online Mode. To use it in Campaign Mode, you must first complete Campaign Mode.

Deluxe Edition voucher: season choice matters
The Deluxe Edition includes a voucher for one season of Premium Ace Pass Plus. Bandai Namco says the voucher is not tied to a specific season and can be saved for a future one. The voucher alone does not identify which season’s aircraft you will receive, so check the current reward lineup before redeeming it.

The roster page names aircraft, assigns roles, and provides descriptions; it does not list a separate unlock condition for each model. The walkthrough confirms mission-earned MRP as the general way to unlock additional fighter jets, but does not give a price list or exact progression sequence. The checked official pages also do not establish whether every listed aircraft is available immediately in every game mode.
