Access Construction’s new Access Evo is an agentic-AI layer for its construction software portfolio, connecting estimating, project delivery and construction ERP workflows. It is designed to carry project context between applications, surface relevant work, prepare routine outputs and flag potential commercial risks while leaving consequential decisions to people.
Access Evo is not a single replacement application. It works across Access ConQuest, Access Fonn and Access Coins, which remain the specialist systems for estimating, field and project delivery, and finance or ERP operations.

What launched in Access Evo
Access Construction, a division of The Access Group, announced the latest generation of Access Evo on October 15, 2026. The company positions it as a construction-specific agentic layer that connects information, people and workflows across the lifecycle rather than another isolated chatbot.
The practical idea is to turn existing systems of record into a connected system of action. An estimator, project manager or commercial lead can see information from connected applications, investigate it in natural language, prepare a task or document, and move information through a configured workflow without repeatedly exporting, copying and reconciling data.
#1 Best Overall
| Access application | Primary role | How it fits the layer |
|---|---|---|
| Access ConQuest | Estimating and tendering | Provides bid, estimate and tender context. |
| Access Fonn | Site and project delivery | Provides field, project and delivery information. |
| Access Coins | Finance, commercial management, operations and workforce management | Provides cost, commercial, operational and workforce records. |
Access says it is the only provider connecting context across the entire construction lifecycle; that is a company claim, not an independently verified market finding.
What Navigator, Researcher, Assistants, Workflow and Data Engine do
Navigator
Navigator is a personalized workspace. It brings together role-relevant information, tasks, priorities, communications and actions from connected applications, so a user can start with the work that needs attention instead of opening each system separately.
Researcher
Researcher is a secure, business-connected research experience for natural-language questions, information investigation, report and document analysis, and content preparation. A team could use it to locate relevant project information or examine a set of business documents, subject to the records that the user is allowed to access.

Assistants
Assistants are role-based agents for specialist and recurring work. They can prepare outputs and support actions in the background. The launch describes human oversight and approval where required, so an assistant may draft an item or recommend a next step without being the final decision-maker.
Workflow
Workflow is a visual drag-and-drop interface for designing connections between information and processes that would otherwise require exports, manual copying or spreadsheet consolidation. Its value depends on how an organization defines triggers, destinations, exceptions and approval points.
Data Engine
Construction materials for Access Evo also describe a Data Engine that connects systems and provides construction-specific analytics. The public description establishes the connection and analytics role, but does not publish a complete technical architecture or independent performance benchmark.

How the layer can carry context through a project
- Estimate and tender: Information from Access ConQuest can provide the commercial and bid context for later work.
- Project delivery: Access Fonn supplies site and project activity, allowing teams to investigate issues or prepare follow-up work with more of the project history visible.
- Commercial and ERP action: Access Coins supplies finance, operations, workforce and commercial records so prepared actions can be reviewed in the appropriate business process.
- Approval and audit: A person remains responsible for consequential decisions, with the organization’s configured permissions and approval rules determining who can view or act on records.
This supports information retrieval, task preparation, workflow connections and analytics. It does not establish that Access Evo is fully autonomous or that it independently improves margins, schedule performance or project outcomes.

Access says Access Evo holds ISO 27001 certification for information security, keeps customer data inside the customer’s secure Access environment and does not use customer data to train external AI models. It also says existing software permissions determine what each employee and the AI can access.
Those controls govern reachability and data handling, not whether an AI interpretation is correct. A contract clause, cost report or change order can still be misunderstood even when the underlying record was accessed legitimately. Alex Boury, General Manager of Access Construction, stated: “And importantly, people remain in control of the decisions that matter.”
The release describes “Human-in-the-Loop” guardrails and background work such as extracting data and drafting compliance forms, with human experts retaining final approvals. Buyers should confirm exactly which actions are drafts, recommendations or executable changes, and whether every proposed action includes its supporting evidence.
Availability and ERP context
The Access Construction Platform and enhanced Access Evo capabilities are stated to be available from October 15, 2026 in key markets including the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States and Australia. Packaging, upgrades and customer-specific configuration are not fully published and require a vendor discussion.

Best Value
An April 7, 2026 company release describes Access Coins Evo as a complete ERP for MEP, HVAC and civil specialty contractors. It connects financials, project management, payroll, field operations, service dispatch, procurement and compliance, and the company says it connects directly to more than 12,000 US banks.
| Coins Evo suite | Vendor-defined annual revenue band | Implementation information stated by Access |
|---|---|---|
| Core | $25 million–$100 million | Core and Professional deployments are described as taking 7–18 months. |
| Professional | $100 million–$800 million | Core and Professional deployments are described as taking 7–18 months. |
| Enterprise | $1 billion or more | Deployment duration not stated. |
Access compares the 7–18-month Core and Professional timeframe with 18–24 months for comparable enterprise construction ERP implementations. These are vendor figures, and the revenue bands are package definitions rather than an independent market-segmentation study.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What to verify before adopting it
- Approval design: List every action an assistant can perform, which actions require approval, who approves them and what evidence appears with the request.
- Data governance: Check role-based access, audit trails, period locks, transaction history and the boundaries on data use.
- Workflow behavior: Ask how often data moves, whether exports are required, how failed transfers are surfaced and how exceptions are resolved.
- Correction handling: Confirm how users correct an incorrect extraction or interpretation and how that correction is logged.
- Lifecycle coverage: Map the records that must retain project, work-package, drawing-revision, change and cost context across ConQuest, Fonn and Coins.
- Commercial fit: Clarify included modules, implementation responsibilities, regional availability and future upgrade costs.
- Evidence quality: Request customer references, measurable time-saved data, error rates or independent benchmarks; none are established publicly for the new agentic capabilities in the launch materials.
What the announcement does not yet prove
Public materials do not identify a complete model stack, publish independent benchmark results or establish error rates for the new agents. They also do not show that every construction organization can connect all of its existing systems without additional configuration. The strongest supported conclusion is narrower: Access Evo is a construction-focused coordination and automation layer across Access’s estimating, project-delivery and ERP products, with permissions and human approvals intended to constrain its actions.
