Met de aangepaste equalizer kun je op compatibele AirPods de lage, midden- en hoge tonen zelf instellen. Draag en verbind je AirPods, open de AirPods-instellingen op je iPhone, iPad of Mac en kies Equalizer > Aangepast. De functie is volgens Apple Support beschikbaar op AirPods 4 of nieuwer, AirPods Pro 2 of nieuwer en AirPods Max 2.
Zo pas je de equalizer aan
- Draag je AirPods en verbind ze met je iPhone, iPad of Mac.
- Open Instellingen op iPhone of iPad, of Systeeminstellingen op Mac. Tik of klik op de naam van je AirPods.
- Open Audio en routing en kies Equalizer.
- Kies Aangepast en stel de schuifregelaars Laag, Mid en Hoog naar wens in.
- Wil je terug naar de aanbevolen instelling? Kies dan Aanbevolen in plaats van Aangepast.
Apple geeft geen universele ideale schuifstanden. Begin met kleine aanpassingen en luister zelf of de balans prettig klinkt; de beste instelling hangt af van je voorkeur en de audio waarnaar je luistert.

Welke AirPods ondersteunen deze equalizer?
Apple noemt de volgende modellen als compatibel met de aangepaste drie-bands equalizer: AirPods 4 of nieuwer, AirPods Pro 2 of nieuwer en AirPods Max 2. De functie is dus niet automatisch beschikbaar op elk AirPods-model. Bekijk voor modelidentificatie en actuele compatibiliteit Apple Support.

Equalizer: toonbalans aanpassen
De equalizer is bedoeld om de lage, midden- en hoge tonen te veranderen. Je gebruikt de drie schuifregelaars in de instellingen van de verbonden AirPods.
Aangepaste koptelefoon: gehoorgerichte toegankelijkheid
Aangepaste koptelefoon (Headphone Accommodations) is een afzonderlijke toegankelijkheidsfunctie. Die biedt onder meer opties voor gebalanceerde toon, stembereik of helderheid en versterking van zachte geluiden. Op iPhone en iPad vind je deze via Instellingen > Toegankelijkheid > Audio en visueel > Aangepaste koptelefoon. Dit is niet dezelfde bediening als de drie-bands equalizer.
