The Tissot PRX Titanium 38mm weighs 84g, according to Tissot, and Alistair Charlton reports that its lightness made it easy to forget during a week of wear. That’s the central appeal—but the watch is not made entirely of titanium, and its compact diameter does not necessarily mean a small wrist presence.
How much does the PRX Titanium 38mm weigh?
Tissot lists the PRX Titanium 38mm at 84.00g. T3 reviewer Alistair Charlton also gives the watch he wore for a week a weight of 84g. That is a specific figure for reference T137.807.44.061.00, not a basis for claiming a percentage saving over the steel PRX: the reviews do not provide a comparable weight for that model.

What is titanium—and what is not?
The case and bracelet are titanium, but the bezel is stainless steel. It is most accurate to call this a titanium-case-and-bracelet PRX, rather than a watch whose entire exterior is titanium. Tissot lists the bracelet as quick release and identifies it as reference T605052840; that specification alone does not establish universal strap compatibility.
How does it wear on the wrist?
Charlton says the integrated-bracelet design wears larger than its 38mm diameter suggests, while sitting close to the wrist. He also found the low weight easy to forget. These are one reviewer’s impressions, not a guarantee of fit for every wrist.
#1 Best Overall
- Case Size: 38.00 mm, Band Width: 25mm, Case Thickness: 10.98 mm
- Automatic movement, leather strap, Index dial type, Date
- Water-resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 m / 300 ft): suitable for short periods of recreational swimming and showering, but no diving or snorkeling.
In a separate review, Jorg Weppelink of Fratello says 38mm felt like a useful middle size compared with the 40mm PRX he owns, on his 18.5cm wrist. He describes it as a possible option for people who find themselves between the 35mm and 40mm versions. Wrist shape, fit and personal preference still matter; the diameter alone cannot settle the choice.

Who is the titanium version for?
Its clearest distinction is the combination of a listed 84g weight with a titanium case and bracelet, while retaining the PRX’s integrated-bracelet look and the movement and water-resistance specifications above. If reducing heft is the priority, that model-specific weight is useful. If choosing by wrist presence, compare the actual 35mm, 38mm and 40mm options on your wrist rather than assuming a 38mm PRX will wear small.
